Manaus Amazonas Brazil - Downtown Walking Tour | 4K Walk

Manaus is the capital and largest city of the Brazilian state of Amazonas. It is the seventh-largest city in Brazil, with an estimated 2020 population of 2,219,580 distributed over a land area of about 11,401 km2. Located at the east center of the state, the city is the center of the Manaus metropolitan area and the largest metropolitan area in the North Region of Brazil by urban landmass. It is situated near the confluence of the Negro and Solimões rivers.

E aos poucos os ambulantes vão novamente tomando conta das calçadas ,impossibilitando as pessoas de andarem. Se a fiscalização fizer vista grossa , daqui a alguns meses ou anos o centro de Manaus vai estar como nos anos 90 , onde a gente tinha que dividir a rua com os carros.

Sou amazonense radicado em Sampa há 50 anos e vejo como Manaus mudou. O mercado onde meu pai foi açougueiro mudou demais para melhor. Está linda minha cidade. Quando vcs fizerem outro vídeo citem onde estão passando.

Thanks for the visit Joseph! The area shown is the center which is a little abandoned by the government, but the city is not poor. Like several cities in Latin America, in the city of Manaus there is a great inequality of income with very rich and very poor regions.
