@JP-fk6pm their iron comes stock at 18* but can be bent 1* strong or weak - I also find that the head is slightly heavier than my iron set heads, so I would reccomend a lighter shaft also. Just my 2 cents
Good review. Lots of interesting info and data I did not know. I play Haywood Signature Irons and added the driving iron to the bag without being super knowledgeable or certain I was “good enough”. I’m a high handicap who can hit driver a long way but struggle with accuracy. No question my driving iron saves me strokes on course. I use it often off the tee (go-to unless the hole is wide open for driver) and occasionally for long approach and rescue punch shots. I’m tall, my irons are +1” but had my driving iron built to standard length/loft and bent 2 degrees upright. For shaft I took Haywood’s recommendation of Aerotec SteelFibre (graphite) hybrid shaft in standard flex. Overall, Incredible value because I hit this club more than any other in a round except putter and my Haywood 50 gap wedge
@angrygardener2430 Thanks man, appreciate it - this was in my top 2 most fun videos that I filmed and I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to tee accuracy issues. I don't play driver and I just bunt 2i off every tee. I will say, it's definitely worth it, and I find the Tour AD Driving Iron shaft works really well with it (I've since changed my 2i build). Highly recommend a test if you're able (the 100$ version, not the 300$ + hybrid version)
We appreciate the review and glad you love the driving iron :)
Love the product, keep 'em coming :)
Is the 19 degree the only option?
