Very helpful! I had a struggle at the end- but having your video saved me tons of time in trial / error. Thank you for your helpful - easy to follow video. Randolph, WI
Nice vid mate 👍 At around 3min 20 seconds you show the belt flipped instead of being put in the V of the belt. Is that necessary ? Wouldn't it work either way? Just wondering if there is a particular reasoning for it...besides maybe belt slippage? Cheers mate 🙂
Thank you for watching our video! I have changed a few pto belts back when I was working for a lawn care company. We were trained to place the narrow part of the belt towards the narrow part of the pulley wheel. I suppose it would work just fine without twisting the belt, but I haven't had any issues with mine and it's been a full year since I've changed my PTO belt, we mow at least 4 hours per week. Let me know how it goes!
@@TheMcKeelsWoodworks Thank you so much for replying mate and good to know 👍 I'll see how long it lasts this way and adjust in future if need be 🙌 All the best and thanks again 😀
If you call a John Deere certified dealer they can search it in their system. There are many different 757 models each has their own part number. One tip: get the part number from the dealership, then search that number on ebay and get the part at a lower cost

Doh!. I've done this before, but I forgot the "trick". Once you reminded me of the order to install on the pulleys it was easy! Thanks.
Gonna try it for first time, will see how it goes!
