just a note for people interested in distant horizons/nvidium: distant horizons seems to not work properly on feather client, but nvidium does, so use nvidium on feather client. also nvidium doesn't work with shaders, and the computer it's used on has to have nvidia stuff (i might've explained that last part a bit wrong, idk how to explain it properly)
While the dinging is slightly annoying for how short these mini showcases are, what a great video none the less! A lot of mini mod showcases like this one have been pretty same-y but I actually found some from this video that I didn’t know of but really loved and want to use. Great content, just maybe need a more subtle noise than the level up 👾🧱👍🏻
May I recommend you Snowy Sniffer? It's a small 1.20.1 fabric mod that makes sniffer... snowy! It adds a lot of details, and has a lot of charm. To the point you wonder why Mojang didn't add it to vanilla. :)

The problem with data packs is that they are very poorly optimized, so if you find one that you like it will lag the game by itself more than 100 mods could
i see but as me using server hosters mods are somehow difficult to manage while datapacks is much easier and no one will install them their just gonna be on cloud in server hoster service@@lost4616
I have a question that I would like answered, I wanted to migrate from OptiFine+Forge to Sodium + Iris + Fabric but I wanted to be sure if this decision is the right one, is there any difference between them? Can I use the same mods and shaders without any problems compared to Optfine+Forge?

@@joahn9509Yes, Iris and Sodium gives better performance than Optifine. and Iris + Sodium pretty much work with any mod, unlike Optifine. also I'd say you should get the Fabulously Optimized modpack and add your mods after that, since that modpack has added performance mods.
You need Forge or Fabric to download these mods. not optifine. though i would personally reccomend Fabric, since it has optifine alternatives + it has MUCH better performance compared to Forge.

More specifically, Nvidium is only usable if your computer has an Nvidia GPU (like GTX/RTX cards).
