After a show, for just barely 20 seconds, while surrounded by a hundred other fans, and she looked me right in the eye when I called to her quietly (I'll admit I was scared shitless). When I told her that her music saved my life after my mother died, stopped me from killing myself out of grief, she dropped the stock smile she had for everyone, got this genuine grin on her face and said, "I'm glad you're better." Then she hugged me.
I love how genuine she is. She's so real and forward about things. So few musicians write their own music, and the fact that she writes it, that it comes from her heart, and that it actually sounds good is a killer combination!
People kept wanting to know if she wants to have kids and recently on twitter, she announced that she's going to have a baby! I couldn't be happier for her and her husband.
Plus, she isn't even chunky. The only reason why people say she's chunky is because, unlike most celebrities, she isn't stick thin and anorexic. She's perfect...not even chubby.

When we parted, I kissed her on the cheek, which earned a giggle from her (and some blushing, even!) and a grin and a wink from her husband (who was standing right next to me). She is by far the most genuine, kind, open celebrity I have ever met or heard of. God bless Amy Lee. :)
