I have years of experience helping individuals grow through therapy, with specializations in trauma, grief and loss. Although I own my own practice, my goal on this channel is to bring a greater understanding of mental health to the masses and insight to those hoping to start a career in mental health with vlogs and informational topics. I'm excited to share a bit of my passion with you! Note: While this channel contains information about therapy and mental health, it is not intended to be a replacement for therapy. Very informative video/topic! I have tons of respect for any professional that works with the hospice population. I can imagine how emotionally draining that can be for everyone involved. I liked how you mentioned some of the push back you encountered in the medical setting. I have seen that from personal experience during my MSW internship couple years ago. Also, happy Super Bowl day if you enjoy that type of thing

Thank you for sharing very honest experience. I have a question between LPC and LCSW? Why do you choose LCSW? Could you share more of this? As I’m planning to pursue master degree and I want to become a therapist but I dont know which route is good. Thank you again. Love you videos!!

I do not have experience pursuing an LPC but based on my knowledge of gaining an LCSW, you may have more job opportunities as an LCSW caters to therapy, case management, community work, social justice, etc. from what I understand about an LPC, they are more focused and limited to counseling only.

Obtaining hours to become an LCSW is the same despite what you end up specializing in. See this video for more info: ruclips.net/video/9rXzcXZgtno/видео.html&lc=UgzRtAbRiYFHeN_FAK54AaABAg
