Excellent overall. Having stayed in the Dubai market for 30years+ I can say that Oman is at a different level in terms of integrating natural beauty with modern day living. There is a very small change I would like to see from a technical standpoint and this is a message to the developers (from what I have seen in the video) is to NOT use Split AC's no matter what. Developers must deploy centralised heating and cooling systems, maintenance of which must be undertaken by the developer on a periodic basis. This will not only make it hassle-free for the client but will also add to the aesthetics of the design, easy of use and maintenance - all over a long period of time. Tks.

Biggest issue I’ve seen in the Middle East is that it’s a bloody desert. They have to water the living daylights out of the ground to get anything that even resembles plant life. Also it is desolate. Whether it’s Dubai, or Oman or any other desert region it’s pretty much uninhabitable without 100% intervention. You can’t just take a stroll, everything is by car and there’s not much to do. People don’t just hang around unless it’s a mall etc. I would seriously urge people to take a look at places in Asia such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Brunei, Singapore etc. Also, moving back to the home countries isn’t a bad shout either. We are thinking of moving back to Bangladesh on a semi basis preferably living 6-8 months in Bangladesh and the rest back in the UK as most of the family is there. Currently building a lovely property on the land that my dad left us iA. North African Arab countries aren’t too bad, also Egypt is ok too but the Middle East? It’s easy to fall for the shiny exterior but in reality it’s hell!
Thousands of people are fine living in what you call a "Bloody desert" and thousands more are moving every month. At least there are no taxes. the crime rate is near zero, the roads are beautiful, the infrastructure is modern. Egypt? even Egyptians are running away from their country to settle in the gulf countries. Anyone in their right mind would rather live in bloody modern, zero tax, zero crime rate modern desert. If you wanna stay in places in Asia, good for you. Good luck with the worse living conditions, corruption, pollution, petty crimes. It doesn't take a lot of effort to look up the average street in Bangladesh, overcrowded 15th century looking garbage place full of tangled powerline wires going everywhere with no proper care, rotting houses, humidity combined with filth, street vendors everywhere and rickshaws honking non-stop daily. Not to mention horrible healthcare system etc.
@@Mike_Hawk1, problem with the gulf countries is that they are intirely dependant on oil revenues. By 2035, we will have reached peak oil (some estimates are 2030). The gulf countries will not be able to sustain their current lifestyle and all that expensive infrastructure will start to decay. The GCC is a one trick poney I'm afraid. The vision 2030 programmes will flop and the GCC will have to adjust to weaker national income. Western tourists can't save all the GCC countries. They are all chasing the same tourists. Those tourists will change the nature of the country as they have done to the UAE
Informative Video; thanks. All the very best with your property. By the way, would you mind making a video of international schools in Muscat for those who have little ones.
It’s a nice resort. Could be a great investment also because there is no competition in the area. I wish you gave us an idea of how much the beach villas and the farmhouse are. I don’t like to contact real estate agents because of the unnecessary questions they ask and how they share my information to others.
FYI that's a lot of % compared to UK mate. UK has 0 stamp duty tax and for properties under £425k and 0 VAT on any property regardless of price but here you are already paying 8%. + annual maintenance fees which is quite high just for a £110,000 property! Even properties above £425k , the stamp duty starts at 5%.
Ur forgetting the UK income tax and support for the rainbow and transformer gang. Paying 8% and annual maintenance fees heavily outweighs the problems in the Uk
How much is counsel tax again ? How much is your national insurance and income tax ? How high is VAT (20%) in the UK again ? How much is Home / car / health insurance again ? If you live in a flat or gated communality anywhere in the world you'll pay a maintenance fee or a service charge ! How much is capital gains tax again in the UK :) ? How much is GAS / Electric / Petrol / diesel cost again ?
UK has a big problem with skyrocketing service charges. And in most cases, in the UK, you’re paying for run down communal areas that are poorly maintained, and let’s not forget the lift that breaks down every 2 months!
The most important thing that you must be sure this property has been built according to international construction codes and you have warranty for this property at least 10 years that guarantee there is no construction violations which could happen in the future ........ because some of contractors are cheating in constructions materials and they violating the constructions codes so they minimize their costs to gain more profits ........ so you must be sure about that .
As salamoalikum brother nice video. Very informative and contains good information. Yes I agree cities like London and quality life and crime are all going against it.
Walykum Salam I’m glad I’m able to help 🙌🏽 Yeah the UK is on a fast downward spiral. I don’t see them recovering from this if I’m honest. Which is a true shame
Thank you brother. I would advise you look further into Oman's Financial disclosure act with the UK, my brother. Oman is very closely tide to the UK. Look into please. A GCHQ base is located in Oman !
I agree with you that the West is falling. I know that Oman and the UK have double tax treaty, but do you think it's genuinely worth me starting a private pension at my workplace? I've always got this fear in the back of my mind that when retirement age comes, I might not see that money anymore depending on the state of the West.

800 omr per year is insanely high,, I was surprised when you said " only" . The only issue I have with jebal sifah is that its pretty far from the city.
beautiful! ma sha Allah But a studio is on average £7,500 quarterly? of 12 payments (3,650 OMR) after paying off 10% of £111,000 (54,000 OMR) - that is not cheap at all :(
While I am agree for lots of points, I do have problem with standing back again and again in Visa renewal line after every now & then, one very big missing thing for me, a man with Family including kids is feeling of belonging, in middle east this is the greater challenge, imagine if your kids are growing in a land where they have no social life, people coming and going for jobs, you have no permanent friends, also who knows what % of TAX they will charge in 5 years once more people nose dive in Oman, just like UAE had 0% taxes not a far ago now 5% maybe 15 or more in future, in the end one day your Visa expires and you have to start all again but in a different age and on a different place. It maybe a better option for citizens of Asian neighbouring countries like Pakistan, India Iran etc.
Yup, social life is number 1 factor for happiness in life, and if children do not get that they end up being very socially awkward. All these kids in these places living sheltered with AC and wealthy lives just stay at home playing video games and are out of shape/unhealthy. They wont even know how to interact with the opposite gender so will turn to porn

I’m in Canada right now and planning to move to Oman in the next couple of years. Your videos are very helpful and keep me interested in the country. One question: If I can’t afford to pay off the whole house in 3 years, are there longer term loan options similar to a mortgage?
You are a great salesman! My only concern for the Gulf would be water resources especially if there is an influx of people in the future due to its economic prosperity. Although I have learned a little about how they are seeking to solve this issue like desalination. Hopefully their solutions are enough.
I think now a days with horrible inflations going in the west countries which reached into levels that unbearable anymore, many of western residents are leaving to live in other countries and they looking into many choices one of them is the middle east countries like Dubai, Qatar, Oman ........ and because i am living in the middle east i can say Oman is the best choice compared with Dubai and Qatar because it is cheaper little bit especially buying a home or apartment, but the problem in Oman is the business is not that much because the population is very low about four and half million living in very broad country also the economy is limited it is not open like Dubai and Qatar but still the country is growing year by year but it needs at least 15 years to reach the level of Dubai and Qatar in terms of business .

Yup my thoughts to. All the gulf countries chasing western investment and tourism, but not enough for all of them to share.
Asian is the future
Totally agree. Malaysia would be the ideal for me.
There’s folks who love the hell out of the living conditions you just mentioned. They just want to be indoors with the ac’s on i a very safe country..
I’m packing my bags from uk to Oman InshaAllah
Inshallah 💪🏽
It’s a nice resort. Could be a great investment also because there is no competition in the area.
I wish you gave us an idea of how much the beach villas and the farmhouse are. I don’t like to contact real estate agents because of the unnecessary questions they ask and how they share my information to others.
I did give the prices lol
Allahuma Barik Alayhi. Thank you so much Mustafa. Jazakallahu Khairan.
Good investment especially during weekend and Eid holidays
£180k for weekend place?
@@kaz4845im sure its 180k omani riyals so £360k 😂
The most important thing that you must be sure this property has been built according to international construction codes and you have warranty for this property at least 10 years that guarantee there is no construction violations which could happen in the future ........ because some of contractors are cheating in constructions materials and they violating the constructions codes so they minimize their costs to gain more profits ........ so you must be sure about that .

As salamoalikum brother nice video. Very informative and contains good information. Yes I agree cities like London and quality life and crime are all going against it.
Walykum Salam
I’m glad I’m able to help 🙌🏽
Yeah the UK is on a fast downward spiral. I don’t see them recovering from this if I’m honest. Which is a true shame
I want to leave the UK for good everything is toxic here now I want to settle somewhere like oman

Double the figure to get the GBP equivalent

That's £370,000 for the farm house
Lovely place to be and well done ,thank you
Beautiful place man, not to fancy but looks great, plus the pool and the view. Looks so calm and peaceful.
Wallahi true I wish I have saved last 10 years
I think he likes it very much.. super super nice
Very nice ©️
It's beautiful. Barak Allahu fik
Thank you brother.
I would advise you look further into Oman's Financial disclosure act with the UK, my brother.
Oman is very closely tide to the UK. Look into please. A GCHQ base is located in Oman !
Correct
Queen came to Oman on ruler’s funeral. Says a lot .
Oman is the only other country in the world that uses the British Challenger tanks besides Britain!
Watching from muscat, am also a content creator looking forward to meet you. Someday From Nigeria 🇳🇬
Ur broda de here. I wish you the best. If them give me residence I go buy house for there Alla.
I agree with you that the West is falling. I know that Oman and the UK have double tax treaty, but do you think it's genuinely worth me starting a private pension at my workplace?
I've always got this fear in the back of my mind that when retirement age comes, I might not see that money anymore depending on the state of the West.
Masha Allah brother, Congrats and god bless you
great content thanks Mustafa. Oman seems like an overlooked gem
My pleasure Malcom 🫱🏽🫲🏼

800 omr per year is insanely high,, I was surprised when you said " only" . The only issue I have with jebal sifah is that its pretty far from the city.
They don’t have a masjid on the property 😮 not a good look, unfortunately
They do have a masjid. Restaurants, beach clubs, equestrian club centre, private clinic, supermarket, gym, etc
Whole earth is your masjid ,if you understand .
beautiful! ma sha Allah
But a studio is on average £7,500 quarterly? of 12 payments (3,650 OMR) after paying off 10% of £111,000 (54,000 OMR) - that is not cheap at all :(
For forigners you get ripped off that same amount will get you a villa in a decent area but forigners not allowed to buy sadly
@@banditblaze8922 2 tier market, and foreigner market is more exposedm
@@banditblaze8922Hi, so as a foreigner to Oman, you are restricted on where you can buy so only allowed to buy in certain towns and area?
Yes, that’s the norm in the gulf
2 tier market, all economies have down turns. The properties allocated to foreigners are most likely to be adversely affected in a economic downturn.
All mountains around the house. Where do I get a pint of milk from, or a loaf of bread!
The local supermarket 5mins up the road within the compound
Thank you for the video tour, concise and informative, much appreciated.
My absolute pleasure as always 🙌🏽
Alhamdulillah!!! Congratulations to you bro
Salam bro. I came across your channel a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it a lot Allahumma Barik. For those of us who are struggling with getting jobs or have financial restraints etc, but want to make Hijrah, could you maybe make a video on ideas for types of businesses to start up which allow freedom to make those moves to the Gulf? I'm not sure if there are many others in the same boat but it would be cool to hear your ideas and maybe even your own journey.
I'm in that boat brother dead end job and want to make hijrah
@@mazharul May Allah Azza Wa Jal make things easy for you and may He Azza Wa Jal facilitate hijrah for you, me and all of us seeking it. I’m in Canada right now and planning to move to Oman in the next couple of years. Your videos are very helpful and keep me interested in the country.
One question: If I can’t afford to pay off the whole house in 3 years, are there longer term loan options similar to a mortgage?
Very good smart system
Beautiful, i love peace but still want yo be close to shops etc. I don't want 1hr+ drive to buy food!
You are a great salesman! My only concern for the Gulf would be water resources especially if there is an influx of people in the future due to its economic prosperity. Although I have learned a little about how they are seeking to solve this issue like desalination. Hopefully their solutions are enough.
Can be a good summer house. But it is better if they have shop and cinemas near by.
I think now a days with horrible inflations going in the west countries which reached into levels that unbearable anymore, many of western residents are leaving to live in other countries and they looking into many choices one of them is the middle east countries like Dubai, Qatar, Oman ........ and because i am living in the middle east i can say Oman is the best choice compared with Dubai and Qatar because it is cheaper little bit especially buying a home or apartment, but the problem in Oman is the business is not that much because the population is very low about four and half million living in very broad country also the economy is limited it is not open like Dubai and Qatar but still the country is growing year by year but it needs at least 15 years to reach the level of Dubai and Qatar in terms of business .
and the pricing is peposterous
Greta video, filled in the form a couple of weeks back, not heard back yet :( submitted another one today.

My man was all sweaty showing us the places.😅 Applaud the hustle G!
Really out here bro 🫠
Although it looks promising and your thesis is correct about the west but the middle east is a desert would live with less and more greener pasture get out and about. Basically locked away indoors as its to hot. Good idea for a rental.
Great video for those who want to make hijra
No country will ever be perfect.
It just comes down to what compromises you are willing, and not willing to make.
If greenery and nature is a non negotiable, then for sure Middle East isn’t for you.
Maybe a place like Malaysia would suit you more.
I was waiting for this vid. thank you
Hope you enjoyed it!

240k for a two bedroom which is equivelent to half million British pounds is just crazy. No thanks.
Its to buy the property flat out, not to rent
For German cities like Munich, Hamburg, Berlin or Stuttgart it is quite cheap.
Great video brother but as much as inlove peace and tranquility it would get boring after some time. Its good for a retreat or a resort kind of feeling brother. Make informed decisions.
Ooohhh, I like . . . Oman has some nice properties.
Their architecture for the villas are even better 🔥
