All of these are just normal people who have lost their children. They are not bad parents. It can happen to anyone. It really hits home if you are a parent. Thank you for making this documentary.

Thank you sir for all you have done for your community. I encourage you to do what you can to get this into your local public schools. Police have had a lot of influence with getting this film in front of kids. Education prevents those calls.
Curious why you being a 20 yr police veteran why wouldn’t use the proper name of a drug? I’m guessing the 24 year old was not taking a script from a dr. It would of been illicit fentanyl. This is fear mongering. Illicit fentanyl is NOT fentanyl you get from a dr. It comes from being smuggled into the country and put in many drugs

They just don't .... Fentanyl awareness has been a thing for several years and especially young people still make the choice to try it out. My name is Chas and I'm a recovering addict. When I got out of prison in 2008 , I was forced to go to NA/ AA meetings as a probation requirement. The same day I started ( along with counseling) I met a girl who also was there for first time. We went through recovery together and our 10 years of complete sobriety was coming up on our next meeting . I remember showing up for group in an awesome , accomplished mode. I didn't notice at first she wasn't there. I asked where Rachel was and the group leader just had that look in her eye and said " oh Chas, I'm so sorry , we thought you heard". People looked at me and tears welled up in their eyes. After I gathered myself , I asked how and was told she relapsed on H ( our drug of choice) but it was laced with Fent. She was doing so good and the one time she slipped up ( pretty sure) it took her life . I celebrated my 10 years of complete sobriety in devastated sadness. Not worth it people. RI- Paradise Renee. You are missed and I'm 18 years clean off everything girl.
This brought tears to me. I'm sorry for your loss. My old roommates daughter and my daughter are the same age, her baby passed this February of f. She was barely 21 and left behind a little baby. Another girl I knew passed last year as well of f. I feel sad for this generation. God help them. We thought we were cool trying pot when I was a kid. These kids are passing at alarming rates. It was very very rare to hear of a teen passing. Every once in a while a suicide or car accident. These children are burying their friends the way old people are. And I don't know how they're coping but it's gut wrenching and heart breaking. I'm sorry for your loss. Congrats on your sobriety. I'm so sorry about your friend. That's terrible.
I've been a firefighter and EMT for 20 years. I've seen so many lives taken by fentanyl. I'll never forget going to an address I knew down the street from where I lived for an unresponsive person at about 1am. I figured it was an older gentleman who lived there who had cardiac issues. Turns out it was my 24 year old childhood friend. His grandmother was outside hysterical crying. I grabbed my bag an went inside. I saw him kneeling on the floor next to his bed facing away from me. I shouted his name. Again and again. No movement. I knelt down beside him and saw the needle still in his arm, an empty baggie next to him. He was dead. I gave him 3 rounds of narcan, started CPR, prayed while his grandma cried in the bedroom doorway. I knew it was hopeless. But I thought just maybe, just this time, I could save him. I couldn't save him. He was forever 24, his loving family standing in the driveway while his lifeless body was wheeled to the ambulance. He didn't deserve it. Nobody does. Get help.
What's with that? I knew my son was dead, but still the paramedics came in with their heart jumping machines. They apologized to me as they walked out, and I was angry that they even tried. Then, to take him away in a body bag in an ambulance was another slap in the face, why the ambulance? With all the life saving apparatus on board that is completely useless to my 16 year old little boy zipped into that black bag, I just couldn't comprehend. So much heartache and our hearts will never heal. My sweet, sunshine, forever silenced.

My daughters boyfriend and his cousins just ( this afternoon) overdosed on two pills they thought were oxymoron. My daughter had 1/2 in her pocket she was going to take but she had to work first. I‘m asking because I‘m a 44 year old father of two lovely sons at the age of 8 and 10, and I can‘t even imagine the pain if I would find one of my sons in the future killed by Fentanyl. So for me it would be a great great way of trying to wake people up by showing this video in/at every school in the US, and even here in Germany where we live. I wish you all the best and that you continue to show it everywhere you can. Two days ago I‘ve watched a short German documentary which was made a month ago, and the topic was also „Fentanyl“. In 2021 we here in Germany had 121 deaths related or caused by Fentanyl Poisoning. This may sound like nothing, but I guess we can agree on one thing: These were 121 unnecessary deaths. Nobody should die because he took a pill from maybe a person he or she trusted. I had to take a few months opioids because I had a very severe car accident which was caused by a drunk driver, he literally rammed me into a concrete part of a bridge across thee Autobahn, and he hit me with over 200 km/h (roughly 124 mph). The crash was so severe that it took the firefighters over 15 minutes with very heavy-duty equipment to cut me out of my car. And sadly my lower back was damaged quite a bit. The outcome were 5 surgeries, the longest surgery took over 8 hours and I now have a lot of titanium screws in my lower back. At first the doctors gave me Oxycodon, but I disliked the dizziness and that the „pain away time“ was maybe 3 or 4 hours. After I had an appointment with a doctor who‘s specialized on „Pain Management“ he changed my medication from Oxy to Hydromorphon, and that was the best thing he could do for me. No dizziness and one pill took the pain for at least 10 to 12 hours away. And then the long and bumpy ride to recovery began. Now I‘m glad I don’t need those strong meds anymore, maybe on „bad days“ I have to take an Ibuprofen, but that‘s it. Jaime, I wish you all the best from Germany, and I really hope that you all continue to show this documentary to every kid/teenager/young adult/adult so that at least ONE LIFE will be saved! My nephew died of Fentanyl overdose he was only 26. It was his 6th overdose. We tried to help him but he wouldn't stay in rehab or listen. Being addicted to drugs is the hardest thing for everyone involved, family and friends. R.I.P. Josh

Thank you for making this film. I am a first responder... in recovery. I chose to go into emergency medicine in my recovery for a lot of reasons, one of them though was to help save addicts lives, to give them a chance that so many of my friends and the ppl in this film weren't as lucky to have. It was the only way I felt I could deal with the horrors of my own addiction, by being of service to others. But, I also knew that on this side of things we needed more providers in the field that have and display compassion. The system is so burdened by addiction and it is so sad and relentless. Even having come from exactly where some of my patients have been at, it takes such a toll because day in and day out of doing your best to help people and they wake up and give you such a hard time. When you see the ugly side of things it makes it hard to keep that compassionate energy flowing all the time. Films like this help me process it all and maintain my compassion. I share your film with my coworkers who dont know my history, to remind them that they shan't get complacent either. While it's hard, every single person is worth it no matter where they're at in their addiction or journey. Thank you for using your talents and energy to make this film and spread this important message. None of these people have died in vain. My son died 6 months ago on a Chicago, IL. Train, previously sober and doing so well, One alcohol relapse….one train ride to get to a new town to start again, one pill given by a unknown person and left to die on a train Dec 4, 2022. When he died so did a piece of me, my heart and soul, just a mom and her son she still so loves.
I'm sorry to hear that, I can't imagine I never want to know what it's like to go through that. Just know that even in death he probably isn't gone. He's there with you when he can be.

The drugs on the street now are killers . Not the experience of the 60s and 70s. I’m 36 years clean and sober now , never have I seen anything like this . In a village near me 3 young men were buried in less than 3 weeks last November. Talk to your kids . My heart goes out to all these parents .
My son has been dead for 17 months. I get counseling, was prescribed anti anxiety and antidepressant. It’s very hard to function, days when I can’t get out of the house. The pain, feeling miserable, worry. All three of my son’s roommates died this past year as well.

I thought it had been 2 deaths in the valley next to us but today I find out it's 23 deaths. tears are coming out of my eyes for these parents and these families. Thank you for making this video. Single father here, I will be sitting my pre teen daughter tonight after school and having her watch this. Prayers to family members who had to endure this awful tragedy, I will do my best to prevent it happening in my home.
U can. Besides talking to your daughter, give her a notebook. Have her write down the minute she gets home from school and puts her books down. Grab some juice and tell her to just write what happened the minute she got to school until she stepped into the door at home. Have her give you the notebook. Read what she wrote. Try not to be shocked. After dinner sit down hold her hand and give her back the notebook. Is there anything we need to talk about? What's going on? Just let her talk. Say nothing. Some days will be good. Some days will be worse. At least you know daily what she sees and what she is dealing with. Just talk how you feel and listen to her words. No you don't have time to watch the mindless TV programs. Your family is in a fight for their life! You only get one chance! I did this weekly with my kids as a single divorced mom..they listened. Take her on a Saturday night at 3 a.m. on a field trip. To a police station. Have her sit with you and tell the captain why you are there. They don't mind uts public anyway. Watch the prostitutes high on drugs, drinks throwing up in front of her, people screaming high as a kite, prostitutes with no undies on and a whole lot more. After a few minutes of this she will want to leave. Say nope just a few more minutes. When she can't stomach it anymore or is ready to throw up, she's got the message. Thats HER LIFE if she chooses the bad. If she won't say NO GET OUT OF MY FACE WITH DRUGS. NO TO PEER PRESSURE Know her friends. Know everyone and they should know you her father. Talk to her friends and let them know what u expect of her and them. No late night curfew of 1 a.m. have your butt home by 9 p.m. I will pick u up where ever you are. Concerts? Sure. BE THERE WITH HER the entire time. Newspapers don't put in kidnappings of girls at concerts. Know who she is talking to on the computer. No need to stalk her phone u trust her. Consequences of lying. Never let her start or have reason to. Have outings with her: walk before dinner, let her help u with car repair, help her fix dinner, wash dishes, do laundry. Etc. When u are in your child's life they feel good. When evil starts stalking you have the upper hand. U can trust her as she wants to do right and never hurt you. The biggest and best way to parent is do your job. U are her dad Being a friend comes after they are grown. ... mama of 3 2 boys good men. Daughter had prob but is still a good woman. So proud. Nobody on drugs smoke prison etc. I took em to the police station when they were 10. I'm having a snack while my kids were scared outta their minds. It impressed them never be in trouble. Reality is a batch. 😂

Drugs lol, everything dies anyway..people hang themselves to stop from being raped in prison..fentynal isn't a hard death..it's quick..the body's gone but the soul isn't limited anymore, by the body. I became addicted to opiates after experimenting with oxys while dealing with depression…they quickly became the only way I could get through a day, especially when mixed with alcohol. When I couldn’t get oxys anymore I moved to heroin. After a year of taking heroin I decided to get off it. I tried cold turkey a couple of times and found it to be too much to cope with, so I saw a doctor and went on suboxone. I tried to come off suboxone for 2 years but found the withdrawal symptoms to be unbearable. Eventually I moved to budival which was a monthly injection, and finally after a year of this I took my last dose 5 months ago. Even though I have made it through the withdrawal symptoms, I still struggle with finding the motivation to get through a day without chemical assistance. The reason I mention this story is to warn those tempted to experiment with opiates that 1 year of drug use has ended up in three and a half years of extra suffering and poor quality of life trying to get clean. My brain chemistry is still affected, I still find no pleasure in any activity because my dopamine has still not recovered. To put it simply, the short lived high was not worth the years of suffering that followed.

This is the most powerful video I have ever seen about Fentanyl and the effects these deaths have on parents and families. It should be shown in ALL schools.
i watched this in my psychology class a few months ago and this genuinely hit home. my brother has od around 7 times (he’s 19) and even tho me and my mom weren’t around at all when it happened, it still really sucks because i at least know that if one of those times would have succeeded in taking him, i wouldn’t have had the brother that i do now and i am so glad to have him in my life and i’m glad that he’s cleaner than he was a while ago. he means the absolute world to me and i hate that there are families out there who have holes in them due to fentanyl poisoning or any sort of drug od. i hope everyone stays safe out there
My husband and I lost both of our daughters to drug problems. Just hard to live with every day Victoria died in 2008 and Ashley took her life 2016. Never thought this would be a problem. Just heartbreaking 💔
This video really hurt to watch knowing I’m a recovering fentanyl user for 4 years I’m now 3 years sober I could never see my self going back to suffering now I’m working on getting my sister off the fentanyl but she’s deep into her addiction and it hurts me deeply knowing exactly what’s she’s going through if not worst please don’t do drugs and if anyone is going through this with there family I pray they get through this and find sobriety 💯

China is killing Americans without even invading our country! Great documentary! I’m so very sorry for the loss of all these young men and women. And their parents, I can feel their pain! My son was in a hunting accident and became hooked on OxyContin. We were the last to know because he lived in another city, with his wonderful wife, who’s a dentist and their 2 beautiful baby boys. We paid a fortune for his rehab. Ended up losing his wonderful wife and doesn’t see his children much. He got another awesome chance after rehab, his best friend got him a job with a huge insurance company. They even gave him his own agency. But he blew that, we think he was fired for being lazy and because the pills just changed him. Grandfather passes away and he receives a large sum of money. He’s living at grandpa’s farm and refuses to get a job. We don’t think he’s on pills again but we can’t be 100% sure. In a way my husband and I feel like a part of our son died. 😢 I wish OxyContin would be taken off the market. I had a major surgery and was given it for pain. Even though I only took 1/2 pill after the first 12 days, when I stopped taking it, I had severe anxiety and some depression.
Just sent this to my kids. Although they know about fentanyl already due to me being in recovery (4.5 yes) I feel I can never be to cautious. I always tell them not to take pills/weed etc from anyone. I pray daily my kids never fall like I did. I pray they saw what it cost me and how many friends of mine that have passed from it. I've od'ed a few times, but what got me sober was landing in the hospital in July last year with endocarditis and pneumonia that had me on a ventilator for 3 weeks and on IV antibiotics for 2 months.

Amazing, so powerful. I heard you on a podcast in Australia and was so touched by your stories. The fentanyl epedemic in America is terrifying, it's only just starting to hit Australia. I work in the drug & alcohol sector and will be sharing it. Well done, just a shame so many people were killed in the making.
The whole thing is that dying from Fentanyl isn't putting all that harm on the ones that die from it, it's the ones that they leave behind. It's very similar to suicide and no one should assume that they're unaware or that it isn't at this point.

Thank you for spreading awareness to the extreme dangers of fentanyl. My sister passed in April 2022. She got back into drugs, but her DD gave her 100% fentanyl, she died almost instantly. Fentanyl is literally death and it's sad that it isn't more known. 😢

My name is Chas and I'm a recovering addict. When I got out of prison in 2008 , I was forced to go to NA/ AA meetings as a probation requirement. The same day I started ( along with counseling) I met a girl who also was there for first time. We went through recovery together and our 10 years of complete sobriety was coming up on our next meeting . I remember showing up for group in an awesome , accomplished mode. I didn't notice at first she wasn't there. I asked where Rachel was and the group leader just had that look in her eye and said " oh Chas, I'm so sorry , we thought you heard". People looked at me and tears welled up in their eyes. After I gathered myself , I asked how and was told she relapsed on H ( our drug of choice) but it was laced with Fent. She was doing so good and the one time she slipped up ( pretty sure) it took her life . I celebrated my 10 years of complete sobriety in devastated sadness. Not worth it people. RI- Paradise Renee. You are missed and I'm 18 years clean off everything girl.

This brought tears to me. I'm sorry for your loss. My old roommates daughter and my daughter are the same age, her baby passed this February of f. She was barely 21 and left behind a little baby. Another girl I knew passed last year as well of f. I feel sad for this generation. God help them. We thought we were cool trying pot when I was a kid. These kids are passing at alarming rates. It was very very rare to hear of a teen passing. Every once in a while a suicide or car accident. These children are burying their friends the way old people are. And I don't know how they're coping but it's gut wrenching and heart breaking. I'm sorry for your loss. Congrats on your sobriety. I'm so sorry about your friend. That's terrible.
I've been a firefighter and EMT for 20 years. I've seen so many lives taken by fentanyl. I'll never forget going to an address I knew down the street from where I lived for an unresponsive person at about 1am. I figured it was an older gentleman who lived there who had cardiac issues. Turns out it was my 24 year old childhood friend. His grandmother was outside hysterical crying. I grabbed my bag an went inside. I saw him kneeling on the floor next to his bed facing away from me. I shouted his name. Again and again. No movement. I knelt down beside him and saw the needle still in his arm, an empty baggie next to him. He was dead. I gave him 3 rounds of narcan, started CPR, prayed while his grandma cried in the bedroom doorway. I knew it was hopeless. But I thought just maybe, just this time, I could save him.
I couldn't save him. He was forever 24, his loving family standing in the driveway while his lifeless body was wheeled to the ambulance. He didn't deserve it. Nobody does. Get help.

What's with that? I knew my son was dead, but still the paramedics came in with their heart jumping machines. They apologized to me as they walked out, and I was angry that they even tried. Then, to take him away in a body bag in an ambulance was another slap in the face, why the ambulance? With all the life saving apparatus on board that is completely useless to my 16 year old little boy zipped into that black bag, I just couldn't comprehend. So much heartache and our hearts will never heal. My sweet, sunshine, forever silenced.

I knew straight away just by talking Stacey on the phone, she was nearly gone.
I never moved so fast in my life to get to her in her home. Luckily Stacey survived and promised never to do it again.

My daughters boyfriend and his cousins just ( this afternoon) overdosed on two pills they thought were oxymoron. My daughter had 1/2 in her pocket she was going to take but she had to work first. I can’t believe this happens today. I thank God my daughter is alive. This is all such a tragedy. For all families involved
this was shown at my school and the dads came to speak… this was the most emotional thing i’ve gone through.
Now it would be very interesting to me: What did your friends say after they saw this video at your school? How did they react?
I‘m asking because I‘m a 44 year old father of two lovely sons at the age of 8 and 10, and I can‘t even imagine the pain if I would find one of my sons in the future killed by Fentanyl.
So for me it would be a great great way of trying to wake people up by showing this video in/at every school in the US, and even here in Germany where we live.
The Fentanyl crisis isn’t, by far, that huge of a problem here in Germany, till now… This may change in 5 years, or even faster.

Two days ago I‘ve watched a short German documentary which was made a month ago, and the topic was also „Fentanyl“.
In 2021 we here in Germany had 121 deaths related or caused by Fentanyl Poisoning. This may sound like nothing, but I guess we can agree on one thing: These were 121 unnecessary deaths. Nobody should die because he took a pill from maybe a person he or she trusted.
I had to take a few months opioids because I had a very severe car accident which was caused by a drunk driver, he literally rammed me into a concrete part of a bridge across thee Autobahn, and he hit me with over 200 km/h (roughly 124 mph). The crash was so severe that it took the firefighters over 15 minutes with very heavy-duty equipment to cut me out of my car. And sadly my lower back was damaged quite a bit.
The outcome were 5 surgeries, the longest surgery took over 8 hours and I now have a lot of titanium screws in my lower back.
At first the doctors gave me Oxycodon, but I disliked the dizziness and that the „pain away time“ was maybe 3 or 4 hours. After I had an appointment with a doctor who‘s specialized on „Pain Management“ he changed my medication from Oxy to Hydromorphon, and that was the best thing he could do for me.
No dizziness and one pill took the pain for at least 10 to 12 hours away.
And then the long and bumpy ride to recovery began. Now I‘m glad I don’t need those strong meds anymore, maybe on „bad days“ I have to take an Ibuprofen, but that‘s it.
Jaime, I wish you all the best from Germany, and I really hope that you all continue to show this documentary to every kid/teenager/young adult/adult so that at least ONE LIFE will be saved!

My nephew died of Fentanyl overdose he was only 26. It was his 6th overdose. We tried to help him but he wouldn't stay in rehab or listen. Being addicted to drugs is the hardest thing for everyone involved, family and friends. R.I.P. Josh

Thank you for making this film. I am a first responder... in recovery. I chose to go into emergency medicine in my recovery for a lot of reasons, one of them though was to help save addicts lives, to give them a chance that so many of my friends and the ppl in this film weren't as lucky to have. It was the only way I felt I could deal with the horrors of my own addiction, by being of service to others. But, I also knew that on this side of things we needed more providers in the field that have and display compassion.
The system is so burdened by addiction and it is so sad and relentless. Even having come from exactly where some of my patients have been at, it takes such a toll because day in and day out of doing your best to help people and they wake up and give you such a hard time. When you see the ugly side of things it makes it hard to keep that compassionate energy flowing all the time. Films like this help me process it all and maintain my compassion. I share your film with my coworkers who dont know my history, to remind them that they shan't get complacent either. While it's hard, every single person is worth it no matter where they're at in their addiction or journey.
Thank you for using your talents and energy to make this film and spread this important message. None of these people have died in vain. Much love and healing i send to all who have lost someone or are struggling.

Oh my goodness. This is probably one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen. Poignant, heart wrenching… seeing the pain, grief, and agony of the parents just broke me.

I was a IV Heroin addict and crack cocaine addict for 30 years. I did 5 years in prison. I am 59 years old now, I've been on methadone for 11 years. Clean from illegal drugs for 11 years. Thank you for making this important film! God bless all who are struggling!🩷

My friend, Bret, died of a fentanyl overdose, alone, sitting under a willow tree this past fall. He left behind children, partners, family, and friends. I miss him deeply.
This hits hard I am a parent and my brother died of fentanyl poisoning..over the years thru his addiction I would talk to my kids about their uncle's addiction..they are not going down that path as they saw what it is doing to me just as a sibling see if their only brother die from this garbage.. he was 53 years old still had his whole life ahead of him
I'm a living walking breathing Testimony to the fact that you can change your life around after drug addiction. As I watch this touching documentary I'm sitting on my couch at my new apartment with my girlfriend. We just got done taking a walk with our new puppy lol. We have a second chance at life and as long as we choose every day to leave that other life in the past we have a beautiful future to look forward to. Every Day is a Blessing. A gift from God. The drugs on the street now are killers . Not the experience of the 60s and 70s. I’m 36 years clean and sober now , never have I seen anything like this . In a village near me 3 young men were buried in less than 3 weeks last November. Talk to your kids . My heart goes out to all these parents .
My son has been dead for 17 months. I get counseling, was prescribed anti anxiety and antidepressant. It’s very hard to function, days when I can’t get out of the house. The pain, feeling miserable, worry. All three of my son’s roommates died this past year as well.

I literally just had this talk with my wife and child yesterday. I thought it had been 2 deaths in the valley next to us but today I find out it's 23 deaths. tears are coming out of my eyes for these parents and these families. Thank you for making this video. U can. Besides talking to your daughter, give her a notebook. Have her write down the minute she gets home from school and puts her books down. Grab some juice and tell her to just write what happened the minute she got to school until she stepped into the door at home.
Have her give you the notebook. Read what she wrote. Try not to be shocked.
After dinner sit down hold her hand and give her back the notebook. Is there anything we need to talk about? What's going on? Just let her talk. Say nothing. Some days will be good. Some days will be worse.
At least you know daily what she sees and what she is dealing with. Just talk how you feel and listen to her words. No you don't have time to watch the mindless TV programs. Your family is in a fight for their life! You only get one chance! I did this weekly with my kids as a single divorced mom..they listened.
Take her on a Saturday night at 3 a.m. on a field trip. To a police station. Have her sit with you and tell the captain why you are there. They don't mind uts public anyway.
Watch the prostitutes high on drugs, drinks throwing up in front of her, people screaming high as a kite, prostitutes with no undies on and a whole lot more. After a few minutes of this she will want to leave. Say nope just a few more minutes. When she can't stomach it anymore or is ready to throw up, she's got the message. Thats HER LIFE if she chooses the bad. If she won't say NO GET OUT OF MY FACE WITH DRUGS. NO TO PEER PRESSURE
Know her friends. Know everyone and they should know you her father. Talk to her friends and let them know what u expect of her and them. No late night curfew of 1 a.m. have your butt home by 9 p.m. I will pick u up where ever you are.
Concerts? Sure. BE THERE WITH HER the entire time. Newspapers don't put in kidnappings of girls at concerts. Know who she is talking to on the computer. No need to stalk her phone u trust her.
Consequences of lying. Never let her start or have reason to. Have outings with her: walk before dinner, let her help u with car repair, help her fix dinner, wash dishes, do laundry. Etc. When u are in your child's life they feel good. When evil starts stalking you have the upper hand. U can trust her as she wants to do right and never hurt you.
The biggest and best way to parent is do your job. U are her dad
Being a friend comes after they are grown. ... mama of 3 2 boys good men. Daughter had prob but is still a good woman. So proud. Nobody on drugs smoke prison etc. I took em to the police station when they were 10. I'm having a snack while my kids were scared outta their minds. It impressed them never be in trouble. Reality is a batch. 😂

I lost my son he was 24 it kills you inside your life will is never the same again the grieving and the pain is just too unbearable now I have another son who is going down that road it’s took over his life I’m praying he sees sense and stops what he doing before it takes him too I can’t go through this again I just can’t all it take is that one mistake that one mistake that will take your life please please get help dont be the victim 😢

It's life, it's as it should be...the universe can't be changed by a human..it just does - its perfect in all ways..it's balanced. Drugs lol, everything dies anyway..people hang themselves to stop from being raped in prison..fentynal isn't a hard death..it's quick..the body's gone but the soul isn't limited anymore, by the body. Good die young...they were to good for this dimension, they moved up and on.

I became addicted to opiates after experimenting with oxys while dealing with depression…they quickly became the only way I could get through a day, especially when mixed with alcohol. When I couldn’t get oxys anymore I moved to heroin. After a year of taking heroin I decided to get off it. I tried cold turkey a couple of times and found it to be too much to cope with, so I saw a doctor and went on suboxone. I tried to come off suboxone for 2 years but found the withdrawal symptoms to be unbearable. Eventually I moved to budival which was a monthly injection, and finally after a year of this I took my last dose 5 months ago. Even though I have made it through the withdrawal symptoms, I still struggle with finding the motivation to get through a day without chemical assistance. The reason I mention this story is to warn those tempted to experiment with opiates that 1 year of drug use has ended up in three and a half years of extra suffering and poor quality of life trying to get clean. My brain chemistry is still affected, I still find no pleasure in any activity because my dopamine has still not recovered. To put it simply, the short lived high was not worth the years of suffering that followed.

i watched this in my psychology class a few months ago and this genuinely hit home. my brother has od around 7 times (he’s 19) and even tho me and my mom weren’t around at all when it happened, it still really sucks because i at least know that if one of those times would have succeeded in taking him, i wouldn’t have had the brother that i do now and i am so glad to have him in my life and i’m glad that he’s cleaner than he was a while ago. he means the absolute world to me and i hate that there are families out there who have holes in them due to fentanyl poisoning or any sort of drug od. i hope everyone stays safe out there

This video really hurt to watch knowing I’m a recovering fentanyl user for 4 years I’m now 3 years sober I could never see my self going back to suffering now I’m working on getting my sister off the fentanyl but she’s deep into her addiction and it hurts me deeply knowing exactly what’s she’s going through if not worst please don’t do drugs and if anyone is going through this with there family I pray they get through this and find sobriety 💯

I just watched this in my school today and I searched up your video to subscribe and like it because I agree with everything you are saying and I cried like the whole time watching this it’s so sad that they lose their children like that I hope that people will listen to this video and understand.
China is killing Americans without even invading our country! Great documentary! I’m so very sorry for the loss of all these young men and women. And their parents, I can feel their pain! My son was in a hunting accident and became hooked on OxyContin. We were the last to know because he lived in another city, with his wonderful wife, who’s a dentist and their 2 beautiful baby boys. We paid a fortune for his rehab. Ended up losing his wonderful wife and doesn’t see his children much. He got another awesome chance after rehab, his best friend got him a job with a huge insurance company. They even gave him his own agency. But he blew that, we think he was fired for being lazy and because the pills just changed him. Grandfather passes away and he receives a large sum of money. He’s living at grandpa’s farm and refuses to get a job. We don’t think he’s on pills again but we can’t be 100% sure. In a way my husband and I feel like a part of our son died. 😢 I wish OxyContin would be taken off the market. I had a major surgery and was given it for pain. Even though I only took 1/2 pill after the first 12 days, when I stopped taking it, I had severe anxiety and some depression.

Just sent this to my kids. Although they know about fentanyl already due to me being in recovery (4.5 yes) I feel I can never be to cautious. I always tell them not to take pills/weed etc from anyone. I pray daily my kids never fall like I did. I pray they saw what it cost me and how many friends of mine that have passed from it. I've od'ed a few times, but what got me sober was landing in the hospital in July last year with endocarditis and pneumonia that had me on a ventilator for 3 weeks and on IV antibiotics for 2 months.
You should be in jail for drug use.

The whole thing is that dying from Fentanyl isn't putting all that harm on the ones that die from it, it's the ones that they leave behind. It's very similar to suicide and no one should assume that they're unaware or that it isn't at this point.

Thank you for spreading awareness to the extreme dangers of fentanyl. My sister passed in April 2022. She got back into drugs, but her DD gave her 100% fentanyl, she died almost instantly. Fentanyl is literally death and it's sad that it isn't more known. 😢
