Want to know how to make an asparagus lover out of even the pickiest of eaters? Coat fresh green spears with a crust of panko breadcrumbs, garlic, and plenty of Parmesan cheese, then roast them in the oven until they’re super crispy and flavorful. You’re definitely going to have a once-you-start-you-can’t-stop situation on your hands. Хобби
I wish more cooking videos were this quick 👌🏽
Instead of the 1 minute intro asking us to subscribe…
@@BigstickNickand then a part 2 even tho they could fit into one short
No need to waste a plastic bag like this. Just mix ingredients atop your baking tray with your bare hands.
I watched this with earbuds, walked away from my phone to start the recipe, and then spent about 45 minutes listening to the soundtrack on repeat as I prepped dinner
these are the type of comments that capture the soul of youtube best
I'm on my 10th repeat and counting as I search through comments for reviews 😅
there's a video you can find if you search "sports cartoon hot air balloon" with a soundtrack that scratches the exact same itch as this song. It's uncanny.
😂😂😂
For the dip make something with a lemony tang to it. Lemon and asparagus go together so well and with all that parmesan and breadcrumbs you want something acidic and light to complement it. Start with a base of lemon juice or lemon zest and mayo and taste and season from there.
You don't need to chop off that much of the asparagus at the ends. Maybe 1/2 to 1 inch. It's a pervasive kitchen myth.
I cut off about 1/4 inch and then enjoy gnawing on the ends for a while. It’s like salty gum!
Let the asparagus tell you. The opening seconds show you the technique, you can snapped them one by one and it'll snap right at the inedible stalk part.
You can also make a soup with the cut ends. Freeze them until you later have enough, or peel the stock with veg slicer and cook
Just bend them and they break naturally where the woody part ends.
The BEST!!! and… I’ve never tried them before tonight! Thank you!
Made this, it was quick, and very tasty. Now, what about that dipping sauce, care to share?
Not the best idea to do in the bag most of that panko and seasoning stays in there!! But honestly thank you for the recipe ❤️🔥🙏🏽
Does anybody know what the dipping sauce was made out of?
Hard to read the ingredients and cooking with all the RUclips icons wrapping the screens… looks delicious though
What was the dip?
Jennie Longstaff mayo
@@SimpIyCraftstic lol
What are the amounts of everything?
Why do you show it with dipping sauce and not tell us how to make it?
Ok good to know I wasn't the only one lol
If I had to guess I'd day it was probably a lemon garlic aioli. Those flavors always go well with asparagus.
You can feel the right place to cut--below it's woody and stiff; above it's softer and green to the tip.
Measure one and cut them all that long.
Ummm…. that was the very first thing that happened in this video, silly goose
Gracias
Looks yummy
Yum, yum, yum, yum!
Neatly done
Omg i forgot to grease the pan and it’s stuck to the bottom😢
Couldn’t get the recipe, did my own judgement
Right? Frustrating
I've never tried asparagus at all. Is there another veggie you can compare the taste to?
Bitter and earthy. Little similar to Brussel sprouts or fresh green beans
400/15 min overcooked 😢the flavor was good.
they wasted so much asparagus..
no need for plastic bag.
Perhaps best to avoid using the plastic bag (single use... more then 50 years in the planet). Just use a container!!
Why would you take a perfectly healthy and delicious vegetable and roll it in breadcrumbs lol
It was so good with them.
Because yummy
@@erinmalone2669 Asparagus is delicious just grilled or baked though.
This was not good
Oh oh trying it right now.
Oh, it was good. I am right and you are wrong, wrong, wrong! And, I am right!😂
This is great. But you really don't need the bread crumbs
Oh my
