ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Christian Bale as Beta ray bill is an amazing cast to be honest.
I'm sure they can manage that since bill is going to be fully cgi anyway, having christian play as him isn't too bad of an idea
Diamond Select really seems to kill it with these larger bodied characters. Wish they were able to get through a few more characters in a year though, lots of stuff I'd like to see them tackle.
Tbh Select figures are the perfect example of how Hasbro is exploiting the Legends line. For $30 you get a huge window box containing either a massive figure with a few accessories or a smaller figure with loads of accessories.
Man, I still trip on how big that Legends Bill's hammer is. Almost looks like the Select hammer would work better.
Next time anybody says Hasbro should get a pass on ML quality, detail, and accuracy because of their price point, everyone should point to this fig. Period.
I recently moved away from collecting Marvel Legends, and I’m now collecting Mythic Legions. And I think this BetaRayBill will look GREAT with the Mythic & Cosmic Legion figures!

If they ever do Sam Alexander's Nova in the MCU (which I really hope they will) I think Beta Ray Bill would work great as a supporting character there since he was around in Sam's early comic appearances.
Awesome review of a great figure! I didn't know the cape could come off, thanks for sharing. It looks great but I think it's way too stiff. I'm watching for a custom wired cape to really put this guy over the top!
So I got this figure. Love it. Small QC issue with mine. When I was taking it out I twiddled with the joints to make sure they were in working order. The right knee was very stiff, so I put more pressure to bend it. When it finally gave way, I heard a loud Crack, and I thought I had broken the entire knee. But in actuality, the knee cap seemed to have been glued in some way to the extended part of the boot that goes past the knee and the very tip of it broke of, still connected to the boot. It looks fine when he's in a standing pose but if I try to do an action shot where I bend the knee you can totally see he's missing a bit of his knee. Lol makes it look like battle damage I guess.

It feel likes Diamond Select has had a bit of a size creep over the past few years. It used to be that their larger figures would fit in well with the Legends line, now it really doesn't feel that way.

$30 for so much paint so much unique sculpting and oh wait its a Marvel license too. Hasbro ML has gotten too damn big to fail but fail it must and fail hard financially. Its the only way that will hurt the corporate greed side of the house. We are better off with 10 to 15 solid to excellent releases a year instead of 50 "repaints". Even the term repaint is used very liberally here since Hasbro doesn't paint anything if they can get away with it.
