Excellent info. Thank you so much. My gazebo zipper panels were torn at the zippers by 95mph winds and im getting ready to order a magnet door to repair it instead of replacing it. I will for sure be implementing your ideas to try to prevent further damage.

What percentage of the wind is blocked by the mosquito curtains? I live in Northern California near the ocean. It gets pretty gusty and cold. Thanks.

Great info, however would like to know if the cord mounts on the floor are flush mounted so as not to create a tripping hazard. Thanks Nancy

How do you put the d rings into a metal gazebo?

It's been several months, but if you have not solved this problem yet, I would not recommend trying to drill into metal if you can help it. If you can, try and find a way to simply wrap the entire cord over or around a shaft or rod. We have a metal deck and what we ended up doing is passing the cord through where the netting attached to the velcro and then wrapping around a structural rod of our metal awning at the top and then wrapping around the bottom of a vertical steel beam of our deck.

Do you really get mosquitos during high winds?

a lot of times they use these netting for shade. it helps quite a bit, especially if you get netting with smaller holes. but you're right; the wind totally blows away all our mosquitos where we live lol.
