Uhaul sells cheap mattress bags. They're popular and bestsellers but how do they work?
If my cat will move off it for long enough, I'll show you. Use a mattress bag to protect your mattress in storage, to move it or to keep it clean (protect from pets/pet hair). I put this plastic mattress bag on a twin size mattress. The last thing you want is for the bag to tear and your mattress to hit the ground and get dirty. It's very hard to clean. So protect it.
Does it truly fit a 10" thick mattress as advertised? Is it durable and strong enough? Watch to find out! Thickness is 2 mil.
THIS mattress bag costs more but it's one I've used for YEARS and it doesn't tear easily. I can usually get 2-3 uses from it. Thickness of 5 mil.

@@UnboxMattress I thought that. So I got some bags that have zippers, handles and very thick material to protect my mattresses. They were pricy, but made moving them easier and gave me peace of mind.
@@TheJustinGarza smart! Do you have a link? Now I want to check them out. I have a reusable heavy duty bag with zippers and handles. I wonder if it's the same thing. It's worth it to protect your mattress that cost hundreds if not thousands. I can't believe people buy these! I guess if it's a short move but it's risky...
@@UnboxMattress I also used cheap duffle bags to stuff my clothes into rather than trash bags that can easily rip and all your clothes fall out.
