I received my thank you letter today from Atlanta gaslight company thanking me for practicing safely and protecting their gas lines while excavating lol 😂 I know it’s been at least 16 if not 18 years since I struck the gas line that they not only marked but swore it was on the opposite side of the intersection just adjacent to the property where I was digging. But that was the second gas line And it was only about 2 1/2 inches. The first one was above ground on the side of a humongous building that was under demo and supposedly it was no longer active but it was a 6 inch line And the closest cut off valve was nearly 4200 feet away and buried under 60 years of asphalt cobblestone and concrete man that roar when the gas came out of it. It sound like elephants in heat
Great work Chris, as others have said, you handle stress and having to fix others mistakes far better than I ever did at your age. Finally after I got past 65, I started to mellow out, but depends on if you ask the wife or not. Thanks for sharing.
I've been watching you for years and I've got to tell you how jealous I am of those thumbs! I've been clearing a building lot this past week with our Kobelco 140 and 36" bucket, but my thumb is only about 8" wide! Man what a pain in the butt with the brush, but we're getting it done. Just adapt and overcome. Excellent work as usual Chris, thanks for keeping us entertained.
Should we place bets now on whether its going to rain continuously when Chris starts Pond digging and dirt moving? The haul truck will be buried up to its axles when he needs the ground to be like concrete.
It’s amazing over the area you have cleared the different types of sub soil, how it can change so quickly. Here in the UK in east Anglia you have a field that’s clay or sand and you only seem to get a change from clay to sand in a field if it’s on a hill.
I noticed on that last tree, when it came out the dirt on the bottom looked like what we call blue maul. always find that in swampy spots or near springs. Just thought it was neat. Hope you and yours have a happy and fun 4th of July thanks for the videos.
A young couple inadvertently built part of their new house on my friend's property. The man and his wife come see him and say they can't afford to buy the land. My friend said it's not for sale. The wife starts crying and my friend eventually gave them the land for free. It was a bad situation. I'll never buy a piece of land without having it surveyed.
That was a mistake. He should have put a lien on the property, and leased them the land they were using. That way if they ever sold he would recoup the value of the land they were using. Now he’s just plain out of pocket.
Your so right, I never got to do an under carriage job where the machine came off a clearing job and would be clean.most came out of a reserve pit or some kind of mud job.and would have to wash it for two days.
Agree on not having to fight mud. Been quite dry here in lower SC but sure does make clearing a whole lot easier. I'll take a little too dry over a little too wet anytime. The site is looking great. look forward to watching the pond creation.
You must be feeling a great sense of accomplishment!!! Now the new pond and other field can be developed. Very experienced operator, luv videos. God's blessings and take good care.
The fencing guys "are peculiar. They'd give me grief about a crooked tree line." Chris, you'd give yourself grief about a crooked tree line! Wonderful work as usual. Thanks for sharing.
Hay Chris we have a acre lot and people keeps coming over on our property trying to claim it we had the place surveys and people go down and rip the survey poles out of the ground need somebody like you down here to help us straighten this mess up here seems like the surveyors on the side with the people who don't own the property but I found a few of the poles but they still don't want to obey the rules should I go to the mayor or to the surveyor office or who I'd really appreciate some talk to you or something to tell me what to do just like I'm fighting a losing battle I tell them that they're already across the property now with a Chevy belt and I told him they can't do that and they said we can do with me what I really appreciate something information from you and how you handle this God bless you and thank you Chris you do great work
Hi from uk chris👋👍 good job mate nearly there on clearing and I defo cant wait to see the pond start and take shape 👌 be a great watch and mr bealey will be happy the way you guys have accomplished so much in such little time 👍 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
Yes, it must be dry - we can hear your tracks squeek [ no mud ]. What if you made it more fun and called out 'pulpwood' for the little trees and 'saw logs' for the bigger trees? Thursday I got 2.75 inches with lightening & thunder, yesterday more thunder and 1.75 inches and on this sand hill the puddles were gone in 25 minutes. We know you do not like a mess, but that mess shows how much you have dropped.
Lololol... You was Shittin' an Gettin' on those last trees there Chris !! Getting closer and closer to be able to start laying out for the pond and get to Digging !! Still a good mess to clean on up but, I believe you'll get that knocked on out pretty quick... Compared to what you have already gotten done so far !! Hard when your playing catch up from all the machines being down, I know !! But, you have got a whole damn lot done so far Man !! You need that rain that just came threw here about 30 min. ago !! Think we got about 4-5 inches in about 25-30 min. !! And mean it came down in buckets, and more buckets !! lolol..... Well, hope your having a Great Holiday Weekend, " what little time ya have" !! Have a Great Evening, and, On too the Next ...
Yeah that was a good little clearing job. That one tree that was joined together with another one gave you a hard time. But you got to take the good with the bad good stuff. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🌳🌲
Well I’ll be, gotcha yourself three more two fers, albeit, one was pretty small, and one didn’t come down together, I still call it a two fer, you be just a bangem out this week. Thanks for the ride along.👍😁
That's where you are wrong the tree cutting was done by others that's why he had all those stumps to dig out I ran triple 6 morning track how three times the size of Chris's machine trees are normally taken down first by tree crews
You talk about building a pond on that site, but where is the water source for it? Never see a stream, creek, or spring in any of your travels back and forth across the area, so where is the water going to come from, run off?
I noticed that Chris now removes the trees whole now rather then his old method of grabs snaps and throws in one perfect motion on small to medium trees.
Hey Chris, your videos are really clear and really great on the HD's. I was wondering what camera you use..ie: go-pro, Samsung, Apple..etc. I know you have probably answered this question a thousand times. Sorry to bother.
Here I thought I wasn't going to get to see a Chris vid today and up poped one. That double tree may have thought it was gonna get the best of you but we knew you'd take it down. Happy 4th of July Chris.
Seen a 4 claw stump remover attachment for an excavator, pull them straight up and two claws would peak the dirt off. Wonder if you have seen them, tnx fir the video!
There must come a point where the cost of logging just becomes uneconomic and its unfortunate but burning is the only alternate, the price of progress I guess.
Is pulp wood bringing much in your area?. It’s so low in North GA it’s almost not worth cutting with diesel prices and equipment parts unavailability. I’ve been seeing folks beg to find people to cut their pines with no success. Hardwoods are still decent but most guys won’t even bid pulpwood jobs even with multiple pulp mills within 50 miles of here. Sure have enjoyed watching you do this Bealy Good place. He’s gonna have a nice outfit when it’s all cleaned and planted. Keep up the great work.
there is a place really close that took all the hardwood pulp be he pretty much said if he drops a log when pulling it that its not worth the fuel to back up and grab it again lol

I've been saying timber for you lol

Property lines are sacred. Ask any fence guy. Rain 🌧 is overdue
Grab what land you can!

Look at the bright side of it being so dry . At least the brush is drying out quicker . And will be able to burn quicker
And I thought in the last video your finished cutting trees. What your plans for Monday? Party?
Should we place bets now on whether its going to rain continuously when Chris starts Pond digging and dirt moving?
The haul truck will be buried up to its axles when he needs the ground to be like concrete.
god you know its gonna be 3 hurricanes during the dirt work time ha
@@letsdig18 😂
Hush!
Wow I have never seen anyone who could swat down that many trees so fast Job well done Always a joy to watch

Chris' idea of how to unwind after a hard day's work; go knock some trees down.
I salute your dedication, sir.

Takes a real idiot to buy non surveyed land.
Why didn’t your friend stop them when they started?
@@mula2626 He lives 50 miles away and didn't know it was going on.

What great hand - eye coordination you have. You make it look so easy. Very well-done Chris . i
Getting the job done 1 hour at a time! Thanks for sharing Chris!
It’s amazing to watch the excavator struggle to dig out the roots then once the tree falls he just picks it up with ease and moves it out. Such power!
Your so right, I never got to do an under carriage job where the machine came off a clearing job and would be clean.most came out of a reserve pit or some kind of mud job.and would have to wash it for two days.
Looks like a tick on your left shoulder about 25 mins in...
Really had to work taking down these trees. Now go home and celebrate the 4th with family and fur people.
Have a great weekend. Good video Chris.
Coming along nicely. Won’t be long and we will be watching the start of the pond dig. Have a great 4th of July!!!
Say timber a must or nobody knows what it is right
Look on the bright side. At least you won't have to stump them.
That helps knocking down trees! The ground isn't so hard packed and muddy!
I bet you’ll enjoy just digging the pond. 😊
Chris great video! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Plus you have to dig out the stumps they leave so they can drive around dragging stuff!
Thanks for dropping this Chris...rotten day just picked up!!
Oh yes, another informative build up to another lovely built project for a lucky owner. Thanks Chris.
Bealy Good Farm is turning into Bealy Great Farm.

Ha, I said, "timberrrrr" out loud several times, waiting for Chris to catch up
Evening all
Good evening 😀
The fencing guys "are peculiar. They'd give me grief about a crooked tree line." Chris, you'd give yourself grief about a crooked tree line! Wonderful work as usual. Thanks for sharing.
Well property lines tend to be straight lines so why wouldn’t the fence be straight too.
Sounds like a good fence crew. They want to provide a quality finished product. I would expect no less from the crew that Chris used on his own land!
@@JCrook1028 Chris has some video of them actually doing his fencing from about 3 years ago. He really likes these guys and they do great work.
@@Vickie-Bligh Cool, maybe I'll go back in time an watch it. Thx.
@@JCrook1028 It's just a short piece within a farm video but the work you see is awesome.

Chris, one of these day's you're gonna dig out a treasure 🤑, happy America's birthday, God bless America 🇺🇸 🎉🎉🎉🇺🇲🇺🇲
Chris handles an over site far better than I did when I was his age. I generally would stress out because I made a mistake.
That line looks super clean now!
Chris, Hope you have an enjoyable fourth! Maybe the tropical storm off the coast will help settle the dust.

Put up signs saying trespassers will be shot on sight.
Yes I have signs up it don't matter to people
That was a Nice Straight pine tree there @ 17:40 😱👌👍👏
Hope your day gets better and Thanks for the video 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😉
Are you saving some big stumps to put in the pond for some fish structure? 🐟

Happy 4th my friend. What a great way to spend the weekend with you. Thanks for another great video.
Starting work at 6pm, your a frickin robot!
We got enough rain today, to make my weeds grow real good. That's alot of land cleared out. Big pond coming up.

Good job. Shaping up nice 👌 👍
@18:20 that big tree looked like it was growing in ashes, like it took root in an old ash pile from a past lumbering operation.

If Logger Wade would of taken out that last pair of trees he would of had two or three panic attacks 😁😂🤣
Sorry Wade I just couldn’t resist
Another job well done You make taking down them trees look easy Have a great weekend and 4th of July God bless
You talk about building a pond on that site, but where is the water source for it? Never see a stream, creek, or spring in any of your travels back and forth across the area, so where is the water going to come from, run off?
From runoff as is the case for most ponds. Mr. Bealy Good is going to speed up the process of filling it by digging a well.
Bealy covered that in one of his latest videos. They get a lot of runoff and he's also digging two well, one at each pond.
Nice job!!
Have you been back to the animal hospital site? The one with all the boulders / rocks?
Impressive work, admire your always wanting to make it right.just keep on keeping on 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Do you ever use a grading bucket?
Yes.
Yall didn't get any rain from that tropical storm??
Chris you forgot to say timber buddy lol 😆
Man, you got in there Chris & got those trees out quick smart, stumps & all. Have a safe & happy 4th July. Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰
And just like that, another three acres cleared!
I noticed that Chris now removes the trees whole now rather then his old method of grabs snaps and throws in one perfect motion on small to medium trees.
