Mr. Dutch, I really enjoyed watching your videos. You do a great job in explaining exactly what needs to be done in your tutorials. I just subscribed and looking forward to more exciting tips to make my game playing a whole lot better. I give you a AAA+++ rating because you're clear in the "why's" and you take your time in the slow motion videos in describing the effects on the movements of the character's position and readiness. I'll be going through all your videos to learn more and see the many things I can gain from your experience. Thank you so much. Dave D.
Hey David, thank you loads for your compliment! I'm currently on holiday in the UK so there won't be any videos for the rest of the month. Cya around and good luck!
Amazing stuff and content Dutch!! I really enjoyed what you presented in your video as the other videos as well I’m always working on my skills in GOW4 according to what you explain and I mproved my skills and style of playing massively Keep up the great work dude 👍👍👍 Thank you
Thank you for your tutorials guy ! I have a question for you : Where to aim to do more damage with the gnasher ? Chest ? Head ? both at the same time ? Thank you for you answer
Umesh Bajoon its not something you set, u simply put ur right index finger on (A) and middle finger on RB and ring finger on RT while ur thumb is always on ur right analog stick... thats how you play claw.
Oeh, tough question. When i play on PC i generally continue to use my controller but i believe many PC players suggest binding the Cover-key to a 3rd or 4th mouse button. If i had to think off 2 keys to seperate roadie-run and cover i'd say Shift for roadie-run & Spacebar for cover.
At the moment i'm on 25-25-22, default aim acceleration & deadzones, vibration off, default layout. I believe it's better to learn how to claw or play on tournament than spend the money on an Elite controller. Simply because if it breaks, you can still do the same things on a cheaper controller.
Alternate does nothing different than Default for the cover button, i merely mentioned these schemes because the holding styles of the controller can be different. :)
Hey Dutch! Cool video. I play on Classic Alternate controls and don't want to have to revert back to default or tournament. I have an elite controller. What button/paddle mapping would you recommend for Classic Alternate? At the moment I have roadie run and take cover as the two paddles on the right and gnasher/lancer two paddles on the left. I get this annoying thing when I LT/Right Analog and it will stare at a point of interest sometimes...any idea what's causing that?
You might want to check the default paddle mapping. It could be that one of the paddles is automatically set to the Y button, which is point of interest. My recommendation is: Use Alternate & only use 2 paddles, 1 on the left for roadie running and 1 on the right for cover. Keep using your D-pad to change weapons.
i hate how you can't shoot immediately after roadie running. there's like a half second delay and it always gets me killed. any suggestions to counter that?
DutchyLive i feel like whenever i watch videos or other people play that they can shoot faster out of roadie running than me. i guess i just have to keep practicing. i cant get gears UE out of me. i absolutely love the style of play/movement of that game. im having a really hard time liking gears 4
What you see isn't what's going on in real-time, it's got to do with monitor and input delay. Don't worry too much about it for now, some people adjust quicker than others. Don't stop practicing! :D
DutchyLive i really appreciate your professionnalism, man. i definitly will keep practicing. Do you recommend practicing with bots on insane ir just head strait onto MP?
I recommend you practice in Horde on Casual/Normal and Social. Do anything you can when you can, practice and perfect the smaller stuff first before you tackle the harder things. And you're welcome man, enjoy the game! :)
It is tryhard to those who haven't played when it was developed. To me these are just every day things in the game. Don't worry about not knowing or using these every day, they'll be learned in time. :)
The stupid thing about this game is that 4:05, because you didn't inta-gib him, he would have stood up and bodied you even though you were shooting from the same distance.
DutchyLive thanks man, yeah im like eveyone else that still have the UE skill frame drilled on their brain. One more question, i want to work on my wall bouncing but i play on a high sensitivity (28,28,28) should i go lower and practice or keep it high and practice?
This is a good vid but honestly it's hard to teach this stuff players. Most great players do this kind of stuff subconsciously. Regardless it's a good thing just to be aware of techniques like this

i need to try the other control scheme ...that lb jump switch sounds like a life saver
Great tutorial man! I can't wait to get in game and practice these!
Get on it Cloud!
Which one would you recommend first?
The order i showed in the video is what i think the ''natural'' difficulty curve.
Love these videos!!! gives me a lot of tips and new ways to play.
Glad it's helping, more to come in the upcoming weeks.
I always go back to these vids for maximizing my competitive game
Appreciate that compliment man! New videos later next month!
looking forward to it👍👍
thought I was going to know all this nut the reversal was really helpful! Thanks
You're welcome!

Thank you
Great video man! I learn too many good stuff , send you love and support from Argentina 💪
Gracias! Get some Lucas! GET SOME!
Always great tutorial.
Great content! You deserve more subs!
Oh my god Jesus, thank you!
Very nicely done
Another great, detailed tutorial. My question is if the reversal move with work in GoW3. (haven't switched over yet. Will soon though.)
Yes, it works the same way. However at 30 fps, you'll have to react quite abit sooner.
Thank you for your tutorials guy ! I have a question for you : Where to aim to do more damage with the gnasher ? Chest ? Head ? both at the same time ? Thank you for you answer
A tutorial for this with all the weapon will be perfect ;)
Chest / Head if possible. Legs and Arms do less dmg overall but when you're practicing wallbouncing, don't worry about it too much. :)
Great vid man, any chance of a video on how to improve on gnasher 1v1s and what is the best scenario to use each technique?
Yep, that'll be in the Advanced Shooting tutorial.
It is the video that ive been looking for... What are the parameters recommended for zoom, movement, etc.
Jessica Ruiz I have this explained in my Settings Guide and my Shooting & Skills videos.

Dutchy your vids are really helpful and great man 👍🏻
Thank you :)
Great tut bro keep it going
Will do. Thank you! :)
can you do a video about this skills with the elite controller and alternative control scheme?
I don't have an Elite controller yet so not at this time. Sorry
just whack a paddle on mapped as A :)
Awesome vid! What dead zone setting do you play on?
Thank you :D
Default settings.
how do you set claw controls? i wanna try it but i can only set it as default or tournament style.
Umesh Bajoon its not something you set, u simply put ur right index finger on (A) and middle finger on RB and ring finger on RT while ur thumb is always on ur right analog stick... thats how you play claw.
I feel like showing my older brother this cause he hasn't played since 1 and 2 came out
What is the distance at where you can slide into cover if you had to explain it in meters?
About 2.5 - 3m.
Enjoying your videos, your basic tutorial annotation seems to link back to this same video though.
Oh does it? Dang, let me go ahead and fix.
Nice video, good job! TY (Y)
Awesome tutorial
Thank you Priceless. :)
Thanks man, you rock ;)
Great video thank you.
What would you suggest as the best keybinding for the PC? Is it a good idea to separate RodieRun and cover?
Oeh, tough question.
When i play on PC i generally continue to use my controller but i believe many PC players suggest binding the Cover-key to a 3rd or 4th mouse button.
If i had to think off 2 keys to seperate roadie-run and cover i'd say Shift for roadie-run & Spacebar for cover.

excelente video. me gusto muchisimo. favor puedes explicar mejor el tournament scheme? gracias
Gracias :D
What exact sens do you play on? What's your philosophy on elite controllers
At the moment i'm on 25-25-22, default aim acceleration & deadzones, vibration off, default layout.
I believe it's better to learn how to claw or play on tournament than spend the money on an Elite controller.

Hello, Great tutorial. What about Alternate control scheme? Is it better than standard or tournament? Have a good day :)
Alternate does nothing different than Default for the cover button, i merely mentioned these schemes because the holding styles of the controller can be different. :)
Thanks :)
Can u do it un slo mo

Thanks man will give that a shot!
No problemo.
You play claw? great videos
Subbed mate
What's a good sensitivity? Does sensitivity play a part of it too. I'm not that fast with turning.
Start around 20-22 for Look and move up from there. Hope it helps.
DutchyLive ok thank you. Really did help.
i hate how you can't shoot immediately after roadie running. there's like a half second delay and it always gets me killed. any suggestions to counter that?
Start stopping your roadie run a slight bit sooner while holding LT, this'll teach you the delay before you can fire.
DutchyLive i feel like whenever i watch videos or other people play that they can shoot faster out of roadie running than me. i guess i just have to keep practicing. i cant get gears UE out of me. i absolutely love the style of play/movement of that game. im having a really hard time liking gears 4

great vids
Thanks Khavan :)
How does playing claw have an advantage over Tournament? They are basically neck and neck. You don't "HAVE" to use your Taccom, it's just a luxury.
Dude I cant even pull of a few of these skills you put into the vids man. To me it feels tryhard and wont bother but I guess I should.
It is tryhard to those who haven't played when it was developed.

DutchyLive thx dude

Great video but I'm going to need a lot of practice
Yes, no 2 ways about it.
ty m8
So what if you play on classic alternate?? Lol
Nothing changes, A is still the cover button.
DutchyLive thanks man, yeah im like eveyone else that still have the UE skill frame drilled on their brain. One more question, i want to work on my wall bouncing but i play on a high sensitivity (28,28,28) should i go lower and practice or keep it high and practice?
Use what you feel better using, as long as you're doing work and it's fun, no need to switch.
Niiiiiiiiiiiice
Thanks Blind :)
are you dutch?
Ja, ik ben Nederlands. :P
DutchyLive haha beter, zal ik je toevoegen op de xbox kunnen we een keer potje samen doen.
Klinkt goed man :D
DutchyLive beterrr, zal je morgen toevoegen!
