As a data scientist myself, I agree that anyone can become a data scientist. It definitely takes a significant amount of time and effort though. I have multiple videos about how to get into the field on my channel for those who are interested!
'anyone can be a data scientist' - that's the gist of this lecture.....What it requires is a combo of math stats n computer science skills topped u with communication and management soft skills.....Data is the new thing from which physicists, engineers, social scientists can draw n infer conclusions based on past history or some kind of logic.......And this is the best time ever for fast processing of loads of data........Right time to be data scientist! You can work in any domain! Good introductory talk👍
Bro ure more than qualified 😂😂😂 Programming is easy for math students like u definitely. Ull be able to transition to Data Science smoothly where some aspects require A level to college level maths.
In theoretical terms it's easier to learn programming than pure mathematics. Programming consists of learning the algorithms, memorizing the syntax and practicing until you get into the habit of creating and solving problems with increasing efficiency. If you studied pure mathematics, you have the ability.
Vishal Jagtap datarobot only automates the modelling of specific ml problems. Most DS problems involve other analytical pipelines that still require actual data scientists. For example, embedding a ml model within an optimization scheduling algorithm.
Biology is the most common degree data scientists today hold. Biologists tend to be perfect for DS work: research, cleaning data, feature engineering, problem solving, and so on.

This comment worked! I found your channel and I feel lucky for discovering it

Visiting this presentation from Google Data Analytics Program on Coursera. I love this presentation. Very insightful.
You don't need a computer science, data science or statistics degree to become a data scientist.
My Country: This does not apply to you.
Which country?
Yoooo!! Thank You, Mishra...I learned a lot of things about DS...
This was very precise and at the same time a very broad view at this field. Thank you sir.
Thanks Mr.Asitang Mishra. You have motivated me more to pursue data science ❤️
How is it going?
Inspiring, transparent talk! ✅
Felt proud watching ✌️Being a data scientist I can relate what speaker said... Problem solving is the essence..
Many congratulations and thanks for such great words. I m really proud of you. And you are an inspiration . Really happy for you.
- Gandhi.......
Excellent. One of the best talk which I have never listen.
This guy is straight fire
Great Talk Mr Asitang
Does LLM replaced Data Analysis? plz.. answer me anyone...
Is it still worth it to pursue Data Science if it will be automated in the future? How far off is the full automation of the field?
yup. that's on my mind too.
I’ll really recommend you to pursue it. It can be applied in any industries. Even if it’s going to be automated there needs to be a human touch

Corona be like : Hold my beer🍺
this talk was really the best of its kind 👍
I have done msc in pure mathematics I have no experience in programming languages. Can I become data scientist?
Yes you can. Start slow, learn excel, SQL to begin with. Understand data and what people would like to see from it. You can learn Programming for sure

exactly data scitice only mens u'r using data (image, sound, sensors, business data etc) to make such algorithm which does something valuable .
great talk!
I'm listening to him again to see if I've left anything important... He's simple and straight forward!
Incredible presentation!
That's very expository. Thank you
Soooo good! I love it and Mr. Mishra's smart humor! Very good overview with some fun laughs in it too!
Such a nice talk sir ...
So proud of u asitang
Fascinating! Thank you.
AlGoreTems. Wonderful. Thank you. But still pretty cool talk.
I just say I work with data and can figure out the rest or find the right people who can.
It was insightful and motivating.
Today he visited my school Mount litera zee school
Thanks, this was very informative
'At some point We are going to automate ourselves and go out of business'
So he doesn't know about the company DataRobot?
Vishal Jagtap datarobot only automates the modelling of specific ml problems.
Most DS problems involve other analytical pipelines that still require actual data scientists.
For example, embedding a ml model within an optimization scheduling algorithm.
Great content
This is helpful, thank u :)
I had done graduation in english so can I? 🤨 🤔 🤔
Yes, you surely can.
The woman laughing in the audience from the start of this video is a paid actor.
Can a person with biology background with programming language knowledge be a data scientist?
Without a doubt he/she can be a data scientist.
You can also go for bioinformatics..rt?
@@unknowngamer935 I am pursuing Btech Bioinformatics currently.

@@Danielle_1234 So what about a maths degree??
Thank you for this wonderful 15 minutes power nap! Just wondering what Al Gore's rhythms have to do with everything...
Nah, just kitten!
anyone from the halicioglu data science institute !??
cool talk!
Algori them
The whole presentation took a toll the moment presenter started fumbling while reading through slides on the screen. I lost my interest there !!!
