I think He who remains had bigger things to focus on instead of one mad titan poofing half of all life in one universe like Loki said this is bigger than what we thought
Remember when it was like a crazy reveal that Hydra was in control of Shield... and now we’re literally on the verge of a multiversal war... how far we’ve come
What's really trippy is that if you believe in the multiverse theory that means every action you take causes a split. I just drive a semi and every time I choose weather or not to stop some where, park overnight somewhere, or have a close call I always think, "I wonder how my alternate self is doing?" Just by reading this and deciding weather or not to take it seriously you are making new branches.
No telling how old Kang is at this point. The Citadel exists beyond time. Ravonna and Mobius have been friends for *eons*. I think he's just tired. Both options allow him to leave the citadel.
@@TonyTylerDraws for now, but it will eventualy emerge back to where is it, where it belong. Because This Kang, is the only one left after the great war, every damn time.
Truly! I think this year has been amazing! Has literally been blowing my mind, the level they have been operating at. Most excited I've been about the future of the MCU for sure (except after Infinity War, waiting for End Game, but that movie was a disappointment for me).
I'm so glad that people are now appreciating Tara Strong's performance in this episode, even though I was in love with it in Episode 1. I'd always watch Fairly Odd Parents as a kid as well as Teen Titans, and Strong can do it all.

@@johnsantos507 Marvel Netflix series were always connected to the MCU. They just couldn’t directly reference names of characters for licensing reasons but they’ve mentioned the Invasion of New York in S1 of Daredevil, The Raft in S2 of Jessica Jones, Sokovia in S2 of Iron Fist etc.
@@FiremanH16 But, my brother told me that Marvel Netflix series are not part of the MCU. Yeah, there is an Easter egg every Marvel Netflix Series including Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D series.
@@johnsantos507 those shows will all be transitioning over to Disney+ for soft reboots which will allow them to completely integrate those characters into the MCU. The first one we’ll likely see make an MCU appearance is Daredevil/Matt Murdock in the next Spider-Man movie as Peter’s lawyer as he faces the murder charge for Quentin Beck’s death.
That “See you soon…..” along with that sly wink is honestly more terrifying then anything Thanos ever did…… I mean Jesus Christ talk about “I am inevitable…….”
I think ethically she made the wrong decision and here's why: Option 1: Kill Immortus and doom the multiverse to another war where trillions upon trillions of beings die. You realize you screwed up, go to war and hope your universe wins all so you can go back to one timeline again. Everyone has free will, many will die. Option 2: Maintain the continuity of one timeline and no one has free will but there's no multiversal war where trillions upon trillions of lives are lost and everyone exists on one timeline. I have no problem with predestination especially if it means my timeline doesn't get wiped out in a multiversal war because one variant wanted revenge.
@@danidsds They don't feed entire universes to Alioth, just the part where the Nexus event occurred and it gets reset using "reset charges". Loki explained, "Reset charges prune the affected radius of a branched timeline, allowing time to heal all its wounds... Which by the way sounds like a nice way of saying disintegrate everything in its vicinity." So it's only a AoE for whatever caused the Nexus event, not the entire universe. The universe remains a part of the sacred timeline. After Alioth destroyed the other universes/timelines, Imortus didn't need to feed him entire universes anymore.
@@Xerion1 Ok, makes more sense. Though, isn't the timeline affected by a bunch of people being wiped from existence? I mean, it's affected by Sylvie playing with her dolls but not by dozens of others being erased?:))
That Kang was sort of the GOOD one. But he was tired. Trillions of years being alive, beyond eternity. He held on as long as he could. It was selfless, in a way. But any person would be tired eventually. Even in then end, he couldnt off himself. He wanted to be "surprised" by an event he could not predict, before he dies. Its actually sad, for this version of Kang.
No one is good or bad here, the multiverse exists and the realities are meant to interact with each other otherwise there wouldn't be a way for that to happen
Sylvie just committed the original sin of the Marvel multi verse. Like Eve was of the same flesh as Adam, Loki and Sylvie were both Loki. Free will is unleashed.
The reactors you choose are so awesome. It's funny how they stay so in sync with each other from week to week. And I laugh every time over their collective groans when the episode is over.
I like how when Sylvie and Loki are fighting, they’re all team Sylvie. But after she kills Kang, all of a sudden they’re all “noooo Sylvie what have you done!?” Damn ya’ll might be Loki varients too based on how quickly you turned on her 😂😭
At 13:15 when the thunder was rumbling and Kang said it’s happening, there’s a theory that was the same moment when Wanda went full Scarlet witch and Agatha told her “you don’t know what you’ve done”
the theory is correct because the event happens at the exact same time in both episodes. Wanda becomes Scarlet witch the exact same time in Wandavision's last episode that Kang makes that comment.
I don't doubt for a second that they are connected but the concept of "at the same time" doesn't really apply here. At the least, everything is happening at the same time as what happens in the citadel.
@@jamesmyles4540 When you deal with the multiverse and time travel, a lot of works play with the idea that "simultaneous" doesn't just mean occuring at the same time. Things can be metaphorically simultaneous in a cosmic sense, occuring at different points in the timeline, but being circumstantially connected. I would recommend the webcomic Homestuck as the best example of this concept at work (it goes as far to codify it as part of the world and make it a major part of the plot), but that's a pretty dense read, so I can understand not wanting to look into it.
@@paradoxxis8612 completely. For somthing to be actually simultaneous you first need the "Framerate of reality". I've definitely heard the name homestruck a few times. One of these days i am gona bite the bullet and actually read it.
@@jamesmyles4540 I wholeheartedly recommend it. It starts a bit slow, some of the jokes are a bit dated (being a decade old comic and all that), and it can get headscratchingly meta, but when the story hits its stride, it gets really good. Just, you know, fair warning. If you do start it, it will take _a while_ to finish.
@@degov5 yeah but it's not like they would tell you the theory is right straight away anyway. I think there might be some truth to the theory AND to the timing be coincidental. But the way Agatha was terrified of Wanda kinda makes me think it is all connected. After all it is said that Loki might be in Multiverse of Madness himself along with Strange and Wanda. And Strange is in Spider-Man where we now expect to see the first people crossing from one reality to another....but Kang did say that that started happening much later on in time...now of course he being able to control time makes It easy to think that he didn't have to necesseraly cross from one reality to another in the same point of time but...what if instead the one being in the MCU Multiverse now to open those bridges through reality is actually Wanda? What if the ending of WandaVision is her hearing the call for help of her sons in a brenched reality were they actually exist but that universe's Wanda can't save them so she opens portals through various realities in search of them and that's what makes It possible for Spider-Man villains to appear in Spider-Man No Way Home? And Strange is there to try to find out how is It happening, but the answer will come only in Multiverse of Madness, which, by pure coincidence I'm sure, literally spells "M.O.M.". I don't know.... something about it seems too coincidental.
"he let thanos happen" actually yes and i think i might know why kang NEEDED thanos to snap and dust the people because kang NEEDED tony to create the quantum time machine, and he DEFINITELY needed tony dead because tony was too smart, he wouldve figured out about kang and the tva (mostly because time travel involves the quantum realm and the theory is that the city seen in the quantum realm in antman and the wasp was actually chronopolis and is where the tva is located, what mobius said mirrors what scott said "time works differently in the quantum realm/the tva) and the sacred timeline was chosen above all others because its the only scenario that thanos snaps, tony creates the time machine, and then tony sacrifices himself to beat thanos so that tony wouldnt be able to keep looking into the quantum realm, but he had one MAJOR oversight, he really underestimated what the other heroes are capable of (scott/hope/hank, strange/peter, scarlet witch, and loki, they), because he was mostly focused on tony,

Coming back and watching this after the Quantumania trailer. The connections are great. He Who Remains offered Loki and Sylvie a deal and now Kang is offering Scott a deal.

I watched each of the Marvel TV series when they came out but just discovered Johnny O'Dell's composite reaction videos today and I am LOVING THEM! In the pandemic age, this is so much like watching these shows with a group of friends; I get a particular kick out of the dismayed reactions to the end of each episode with their collective "NO! This is the END!??!? NOT NOW!" - just like I did watching each episode the first time. Our reactions just prove how well Marvel pulls us in over and over again. Kudos to Kevin Feige and the creative minds behind these shows and to JOD for a superb editing job on these videos! I just went through the entire Loki series reactions and love this particular collection of reactors - I hope they come together again for Season Two!
*Johnny O'Dell* Glad to see you complete the MCU series trilogy in your original channel and in the new one. And to all MCU fans...get ready for the chaos that shall spread in the future films.
I think that rock where Kangs stronghold is placed on, is whats left of his earth after weaponaising Alioth, that's why he got so emotional at one point.
There are other reaction compilation videos on RUclips. BUT...Yours are the best. I know it takes a while to collect and edit these. But the way you do it is better than all of the others. Once again...Wonderful job Johnny O'Dell!
Kang already got some of the coldest lines imo, first we got "See you soon" with the wink in Loki, then with the leaked Quantumania trailer he says to Scott, "An Avenger, have I killed you before?" The future looking bright lets not mess this one up.
this is probably the best Marvel TV show I have watched! Dude this is so crazy!! I love the transition of Loki's character! Dude Thor's gonna be so proud of you!
1. *FINALLY* 2. What a goddamn glorious ride of a finale this was. I don't think I've really experienced Marvel Television on such a level since the first season of Daredevil on Netflix. Just wow. 3. One word to describe the Season 1 Finale of Loki, the tease for Season 2, the set-up for what's to come in Phase 4 (i.e. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania, the animated What If series that drops in 4 weeks, etc): *HYPE* 4. I wanna personally thank Mr. Johnny O'Dell for delivering the content for this season. These were some of the best reaction mashups I've ever seen. I look forward to the same magic when Season 2 drops. I also wanna thank the many reactors who delivered the goods watching, reacting and discussing the amazing gloriousness of this show. Watching the first season vicariously through you guys was incredible. Can't wait to do it again next season. 5. (0:08-0:51) *Coolest MCU intro ever* 6. (1:55-2:04) *Another MCU jumpscare* 7. (6:50-6:59; 9:15-9:46) What I love about this sequence between Ravonna and Mobius is that its two people or friends who have differing views. Arguably, both make good points. To me, Ravonna Renslayer is a sad case of being in a cult for so long that she has dranked the Kool-Aid so hard. 15. (10:05-10:12) I really believe when Renslayer said "in search of free will", I think she's going to meet Nathaniel Richards. 16. (10:37-12:09) *Kang backstory* 17. If you guys take a closer look at the fight sequence between Loki and Sylvie, remember "love is a dagger". Seriously, I'm telling y'all it's legit. 19. (16:14-16:35; 19:06-19:19) To me, 2012 Loki is my all-time favorite version of Loki in the entire MCU. The performance by Tom Hiddleston has been nothing but phenomenal. You can clearly see that Loki has come full-circle. God, what an amazing actor Hiddleston is. 20. I also like to give props to Jonathan Majors and his stellar performance in this episode. He really embodied a version of Kang, while teasing his future performances as different versions of Kang. Can't wait to see more of him. 21. (16:37-16:57) I would like to point out that I won't apologize for loving the Sylki ship. I won't apologize for loving Loki and Sylvie together. I especially will not apologize for absolutely screaming for joy when Loki FINALLY had his first onscreen kiss in the MCU. Proof positive that even villains are worthy of love and growth and being good. Don't like this? Sue me. 22. (17:01-17:41; 18:03-18:10) Sadly, Sylvie became just like Loki. Her emotions got the best of her. She succumbed to her lust for revenge. By doing so, Sylvie Laufeydottir has let chaos and free will run wild throughout the Multiverse, setting up what will be the Multiverse of Madness. Props to Sophia Di Martino for becoming a captivating character throughout this season. Here's hope for a juicier role next season. 23. Also also, huge props to Natalie Holt and her music throughout the first season. Incredible, intense, sad, heroic, tragic. Such amazing composition. We have ourselves another diamond in the music department. Here's to everything that comes next for her. 24. (17:54-18:02) *"See you soon..."* 25. (18:14-19:02) *Multiverse, here we come!* 26. (20:11-20:43) *The Conqueror is coming* 27. (20:44-21:06; 21:17-21:28) *See y'all in Season 2* 28. (21:45-21:48) That's y'all fault. Y'all let yourselves have unrealistically high expectations. It's not Marvel's fault or Kevin Feige's fault that y'all got "Bohnered". Y'all have yourselves to blame for why the ending of WandaVision didn't vibe with y'all.

Oh my god! AVENGERS SECRET WARS IS COMING!!😱
people really be like "sylvie that was dumb. Yay multiverse!"
I think ethically she made the wrong decision and here's why:
Option 1: Kill Immortus and doom the multiverse to another war where trillions upon trillions of beings die.
@@Xerion1 Except trilions of lives are lost every time a universe is pruned. Maintaining the one universe requires feeding all others to Oliath
@@danidsds They don't feed entire universes to Alioth, just the part where the Nexus event occurred and it gets reset using "reset charges".
Loki explained, "Reset charges prune the affected radius of a branched timeline, allowing time to heal all its wounds... Which by the way sounds like a nice way of saying disintegrate everything in its vicinity."
So it's only a AoE for whatever caused the Nexus event, not the entire universe.

100% agree.

This comment is gold.
13:20 Some theories out there said This is where Wanda Became the Scarlet Witch
Yes, and there's actually a video comparison about it
The director said that the timing is purely coincidental. But it's a cool and interesting theory.
Not a theory.

a minute of silence for that scare that miss minutes gave us
"he let thanos happen" actually yes and i think i might know why
kang NEEDED thanos to snap and dust the people because kang NEEDED tony to create the quantum time machine, and he DEFINITELY needed tony dead because tony was too smart, he wouldve figured out about kang and the tva (mostly because time travel involves the quantum realm and the theory is that the city seen in the quantum realm in antman and the wasp was actually chronopolis and is where the tva is located, what mobius said mirrors what scott said "time works differently in the quantum realm/the tva)
and the sacred timeline was chosen above all others because its the only scenario that thanos snaps, tony creates the time machine, and then tony sacrifices himself to beat thanos so that tony wouldnt be able to keep looking into the quantum realm, but he had one MAJOR oversight, he really underestimated what the other heroes are capable of (scott/hope/hank, strange/peter, scarlet witch, and loki, they), because he was mostly focused on tony,
Kang wouldn't be afraid of Tony lol
