I noticed that if I had the "message in a bottle" quest selected, I would catch it almost immediately. If not, it would take forever.

Bro the auto trap quest broke for me as it won’t count the fish it catches and I have tried a lot destroying them replaceing them reloading the plant there on and it won’t count the fish they get
