I've been thinking about getting the Note Edge. I'm done paying on my M8 in May and thinking about trading it in to pay on a Note Edge. I can't decide between the Note Edge, Droid Turbo or Nexus 6, but it seems like the Note Edge would be more functional for me.
I personally own the Note 4, but I'm also feeling this new curve phone. I can see the possibilities with that edge and all the apps they could create. It's a "win!"

Just went from note 3 to note 4 today. Got one for the wifey too. Im lovin it so far and she cant stop starring into the beautiful quad hd display. Nice unboxin quick, nice and easy. One.
Liking it so far. Nice to see a manufacturer taking chances trying something new. First the Note series, now a curved display. This probably won't be a mainstream phone and more for phone geeks. But we will see.
Both the Note 4 and the Note Edge are great phones, but I wonder if there are going to be very limited cases available for the Note Edge? I'd be afraid of breaking that phone with it's edge glass design. Thanks Floss, always enjoy your videos!

Love it! Ordered mine Friday after not having them in the store on release day. Frustrating. Discovered today that they are already backordered. How did you get one? Tired of people repeating what they hear. "Gimmicky?" Maybe to some. Most reviewers who spread negative reviews haven't tried the phone for more than the time needed to shoot a RUclips video. I say, good to push things and to try new things. If it takes off, every other phone will have an "edge" in three years.
Anxious to see your real review to compare with the Note 4. Will definitely be a factor in deciding which one to get. Let us know what you find as far as cases and extended batteries! ✌
Note 4 user here. I can't hate on the Edge, however it seems more like a novelty item. Strong shot out to Samsung for taking the risk, it's different enough that It will sell. I like the idea of the side screen for notifications, etc. The implemented apps will get better as she sells. One thing that would concern me as an owner of the Edge is, will it take longer now for updates due to that screen. I know your looking forward to the cases Floss. The cases! Lol.

I really think the Edge is a gimmick. Until straight-up foldable screens become standard it's gimmicky... but we have to get there somehow so this is a first step... well, really a second step since we've already seen the LG G Flex.
Michael Coats galaxy round is awful.. lg is way better, and flexible, you won't have to worry about sitting on it, and it's rounded the better way, so you'll enjoy your videos and games way better

Since I heard of this design I thought it was kind of gimmicky..I happen to favor a more symmetric design and this one doesnt do it for me. I also think this phone is going to suffer from alot of cracked screens because the edge is so vulnerable during falls....Thanks for the vid!

I think it's super sick. I would be worried about dropping it tho since it only has 3 sides basically and the 4th is a screen. Case protection wouldn't really help either.

Hi Floss, I have the Note 4 and love it. I think the Edge is a bit of a gimmick phone. Not for me. It'll be unique to own one though so it'll have the "Floss Factor" for that reason.
I know someone that has the Edge and that thing is GORGEOUS!!! I want one something AWFUL, but unfortunately T-Mobile doesn't have the White one yet. Seems like an awesome phone but I like to rock a great case. Drive truck and need the protection. My concern would be case design and durability with the curved screen.
I had the chance to play with the phone, and other than it being new, and slick to have, I was rather disappointed with the lack of functionality of the side screen. I was hoping that it would act as the multi-tasking bar, so you wouldn't have to keep hitting the back button to make it appear, and you could slide apps over to open them up in multi-window mode, but that's not the case. Don't get me wrong the mf phone is hottt, and I currently have the note 2, and I love my 2 to death with all the functionality of it, but I'm Living on a see-saw hahaha. Keep up the vids man, you really are the real review!!!!

I played with the phone in Best Buy, and I just couldn't get with the Edge display. Just too gimmicky for me, doesn't seem practical. Can't wait to see what you think about it, since you'll be using it as a daily driver.

yeah my bad the note 4 last 8h and 43minutes of battery life with poweruser test the note egdge does 7hours and 8 minutes but it charges faster than the note 4 as expected 85 minutes on the edge and 98 minutes on the note 4

A 5.6 inch Quad HD display with a 3000 mAh battery. Looks like it won't last 4 hours of heavy intense use.
most reviews have had it only around 90 min less battery life, than the Note 4.
