Nice video. Do you know where I can find a replacement fan motor for an older model Lasko Box Fan with the larger "deeper 20" box" ? I'm having trouble finding one. Thank you.
Good day, your tutorials are excellent hence the reason I chose to ask this question. I have a remote control three- speed lasko fan, when switched on there is power, the shaft is ok but the fan is not coming on how can this be rectified? Could you send your phone contact so we can talk further.
Good day. the problem with your fan is that the circuit board in the fan gone bad. I think I make a video on a bypass on the circuit board & install a 3 way switch. check out my other videos on fan & see what you looking for. if you ain't find a video on how to bypass then I'll have to make one in the nearby future.
I need help, mine was stuck, I oiled the sharft but not the bearings, it was spinning freely and much better but then, after about an hour it just stopped moving. No humming, no power, what happened?
Hi Mr. Fix It 360 The shaft will spin if I strating spin it manually first. And also only woks for the highest speed. Would you please let me know what is going on? Thanks.
Hi my fan was working good then it started making a sqeaking noise, the shaft is spinning good no problem, but when I unmount it, it was still spinning then it got very hot and stop working how can it be fixed
Interesting video, amazing dust could cause it to seize up like that, you would think it would not be able to create that kind of resistance. Is the bearing easy to replace and the coils rewound, should it be required. As a novice, can I ask what the capacitor does in the fan?
Really helpful tutorial. Even better that this is made by a fellow Trini
Thank you for making a clear concise step by step repair video 5🌟🙏
No problem dude. Don't forget to share with friends and family who might need some help.
@@mr.fixit3604 where are you located ?

Change the metal housing around the motor.
U know when people walk in the back of the fan how they clothes have dust in it that's why the vents are clog?
Ok
I’m trying to use this video to figure out where the CBB goes but I have no clue, can someone help?
What you mean by CBB.

The capacitor not only start the fan but keep it spinning.

On your Lasko when you increase your motor speed does your blade spin the same speed or faster
It's will spin faster when you increase the switch level.
What do you do when the damn screws wont come loose 😡
If you like me. You will find a way to get it out.
What chemical did you use to clean the shaft and coil
wd40 to get the rust out, then machine oil to lubricate the shaft.
You sure dis is safe? It will hurt anything in d motor?
It's sure safe.

3 in one oil or machine oil.
Have a lasko fan but getting no current what causes that
Probably a fuse in the stator assembly.
How to fix a fan opposite direction
Check the capacitor.

How you sounding like ah Trinidadian so.??
My lasko fan motor not working could be the switch?
It could be the power cord or switch or the motor. you have to run some test to find out what could be the problem.
