I hope one of the freshmen are bangers. That is what has been missing the past two seasons. The front line and ONO in particular were soft. If one or more of the freshmen can come in and make it difficult for the opposing team to score down low, they have a good chance to go deep in the NCAA tourney. And I definitely missed seeing Nika's intensity last year. Coach made room for Azzi by limiting Nika. I think that was a huge coaching error. Those two are my favorite players. But limiting Nika's fire and hustle for Azzi's shooting didn't make sense. Gotta find a way to maximize each without limiting the other. That all being said....Hey Coach!!! Bangers! We need Bangers!!!

She was the ONLY front line player that would lean on/push her opponent all game like a forward is supposed to do. When she hurt her hand in the tourney, I knew that the only way to win would be if they got hot from outside. Didn't happen...Didn't win.
UCONN WB team will have a very good season. However, with Paige being out I am wondering who will be the Azzi's sidekick that will come through during the clutch time. You need a minimum of two All Americans to reach the Final Four and win the Championship. It appears Geno is hoping that Lou's scoring will fill the void of Paige's scoring absence.
Funny how geno needs players to step up now where as before he held them in little bubbles of his choosing. Turn them loose and quit relying on brittle paige
