Very rude to drink hot tea and not give him any.

lol Very polite to make your conclusions not knowing what was behind the frame. Out of 4 hours of raw footage I made this short film for you, to save your time and make it easy to watch. I think next time I should make a 'special' edition for people like you. Where I show how I offer 'tea', how I throw garbage into a bin and other really important things which bother you.

You should visit this man again, and bring him a few simple supplies as a gift. He probably doesn't get out for shopping very much. It won't cost a lot, and you can learn from him. I'm sure he has a lot of interesting stories to tell.

Oh Hermit, Thank you for taking us on your visit to your delightful True Russian Hermit. The joy of the Lord Jesus Christ is his strength, and is yours as well. If his dwelling was unsafe, perhaps you propped things up for him. And the wonderful cross beside the road as you approached his home....much love to you from SoCal, USA.

Thanks for watching. Maybe I will visit him again if I have time. The problem is it's too far for me.

He must be speaking to me because I have seen this again and needed to just do my “good will” and say something..

Very surreal to see a Fool-for-Christ on camera. He also bears a striking resemblance to St. Seraphim of Sarov.

What a great encounter! This good soul would definitely fall into the category of what is sometimes called a holy madman or a crazy-wise teacher. If you happen to return - I know he lives quite far away, so it's perhaps not very likely - but if you do, please ask him to share more thoughts on what his average day looks like and what he means by ongoing, perpetual prayer.
Thank you for taking the effort and doing the trip!

“I’m risen from the dead, back in the body” dude literally might be St. Seraphim lol he said he would resurrect before the end.
Only kidding, God bless the holy man, may our Lord give him many more years and may he end his life in peace.

Very interesting what one philosophizes from being alone. Many religions believe in souls and of course they believe in divine creation of the world, but not all believe in animism, where in divine spirit is in everything as it was divinely created. But after having the commodity of people taken away, one begins to look inside themselves and realizes that they also have divinity in them because of their divine origin.

Your conclusion is not very accurate because it's not being said in the video why he started believing in God. You think he started believing because of being alone, but he said he started believing when he was at the edge of death, he was ill and disabled, traditional medicine could not help and then he started seeking for help from God.

      No.
Naturally, I imply he was already christian, but not particularly pious. Living all alone, his divine influence began to appear before his eyes by the work of his hands. One would surely say it was thanks to God that he finds plenty of dry tinder for fire. I say this looking from the outside, as a pagan.

It's sad how the full conversation about Ukraine and Putin's crimes was cut out. But it is understandable.. when you live in such regime where human rights and free speech is basically non-existent they can put you in jail just for anything you say or post on the internet
