I was literally hopeless with an MPC the day before I filmed that video but thanks to my guy Ave's course I managed to make this 😅🔥
no Fucking Way 🤣🤣🤣🤣
thank you so much for the support fam!
I’m bout to get one to use with FL lol
Welcome to the MPC community. We’re nice here. Congratulations on joking the hardware side of things
Y'all kilt it
I been using Fl Studio since 2002 ish... switched to the MPC "fully" about a year ago... I mean i still use Fl Studio cause i'm so used to it and can make a beat within 15 minutes... BUT i just love how the MPC sounds and the plugins it comes with.. plus the workflow , i just fell in love with the MPC
This so focus and passionated way of dealing production in a very cool nerdy way made me a subscriber, thank you !
Ok I just signed up for the master class! ❤️🔥👊🏼 I’ve had my MPC One too long to not be further along with it😂
Oh yes, having fun! We all forget that sometimes, nice vid man.
Ave your videos are fire!!! I appreciate your perception on things very honest and unbiased. As a fan I really appreciate your genuineness.
thank you so much
Man oh man am I blown away by your content. I have been watching your content while waiting for my MPC to come in, and now that I got it, will DEFINITELY be getting that master class. Been producing for a few years through Logic, but hopping onto the MPC 👀
I hopped on the mpc wave Jan 1st and been on since . Mainly cause I couldn’t afford on until then 😂 I will says it’s a lot simpler to make beats and the drums have a better feel. I can’t explain it but the bounce mpc provides is unmatched
This video really helped me see what the gravitation towards MPC’s really is all about. Definitely getting one.
Just got my first mpc thank you for everything you’ve done I’ve learned a lot🌞
I just got my MPC One+ and I got the Masterclass. Now is just a matter of watching the tuts, and putting what I learn into practice. Looking forward to it... To me, both clicking midi in and playing the pads is fun, but there's something about playing the pads that feels just right, no pun intended. Now Im finna be FL Gang/MPC Gang 🥭🥁
I'm sure thats why Akai went with red. It stands out to the younger generation
@@Kyoju252 I'm Sure it meant red in the 80s and 90s too. the color is still attractive. That's another reason why they chose red with the Supreme edition. Kids like the color.
That's a good point
this inspires me more to continue my journey in learning the mpc and other standalone gear. You never get tired of fl but u get to see how easier it was to actually make the beats.
Good vid very inspiring
Ive had my mpc one for 3 years or so.. Love it
Hopefully this type of content will help other artists lean into trying new things. Easy to get stuck just following a formula all day.
Well I have to give you credit for inspiring many to switch up to the MPC.
Fun video my guy!
lol indeed
MPs okay. A different experience, but not as efficient to me. Dont get me wrong, my Live 2 knocks and has a distinct sound and flavor due to its limitations... But for my workflow, the 20years of FL experience can't be touched. Yeah... im that old too 😂 I was rocking the MPD32 with Fruity and had the Boss SP505 sampler before i got hipped to fruity loops LoL
Great video though 👍🏾
As a English both Jack and Jay both actually live very nere Me in location. Jay got popular doing UK Drill FL tutorials and recently started doing Boombap and thats when He got interested in MPCs. Jack does sevraul different styles including Drill, Trap and got a Old MPC recently.
I love seeing this! Come on over to the dark side, FL Gang!
Thars it, have fun! Do whatever you want. Learn whatever you want. I would sync that Mpc One up with a old Emu Mo Phat, record player and vibe out for hours, thats just me.
Just bought mine last month once you get over that first month u can make real heat it just an adjustment in new screens but same concepts as Fl studio but it’s way more fun using your hands but I still use Fl studio as well
I finally got on board with Mpc with the studio Mk2 and didn't like it mainly due to the small screen, so I took it back and got the studio black which I like more, but it's not standalone so I'm looking into getting the touch or one. The touchscreen is really what I'm interested in with chopping samples. also use fl studio 21 and use the Mpc as a vst which is best of both worlds for me 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I've been thinking about copping an MPC One tbh, and I'm a longtime FL Studio user. I already have an MPK49 and MPD218
I started on FL (still use it) but I always wanted to learn the MPC/SP1200/ASR10 and I helped one my customer with a studio setup when I worked at guitar center since he bought all his gear from me I didn’t feel right charging me so as a payment he taught me the MPC3000 and was hooked since
I started with a Boss DR660 and Triton LE, then Fruity Loops in 2003, and then NI Maschine. Now I own a MPC One and MPC Live 2 and I’m in LOVE!!!!
I still have my DR660
Bro your tutorials are truth!!! 🔥🔥🔥 That’s how I learned my MPC’s …. I appreciate the knowledge 💯💪🏽🫡
I almost shed a tear.
I started out on FL but since I got my MPC live 2 I haven’t turned back . There is something about the MPC that put out a thick fat sound that sounds mastered . It’s less work even if you adjust the volume of of each track and export it will sound mastered.
Been playing with FL for 20 years, got into the MPC but played with the Electribe for a while before that.
It’s always good to learn to how to produce with different equipment and software.
Ave...🔥🤘🔥
Honestly been thinking about this a lot but with the MPC professional controller...
🥀⛽️🎭
It's a good time
@akai owe you the 💰 mah boi. A lot of people bought units bc of you and some of them saying and some not. Truth
Mpc is fire ...def wanna learn
well get one and have fun
Can you breakdown Cookin Soul’s mpc process ?
Can't wait to buy me 1 😢
In 2018 I went from Fl to the MPC touch, It was my secret weopon but now alot of daw users are using MPCS, I have the live and one
hand me a bucket john.
I pray for the day that flp becomes a full DAW!
They're all a part of the same circle
ProdbyJack
JayCactus
ProdbyLLB
ProdByOcean
Chunki
Lollypop
ect ect ect.. I Still Think Jack & Cactus are clones of each other 😂
That's actually cool
Word, first time I pin every instrument without pre playing anything will be wack.
It’s like with the steal guys in the gym. It’s about the time and effort you bring to the table.
Man i skipped school days because us 14 just to do more FL! It’s the BEST!
Even when I could a MPC3k 10 years later ( felt like a oldschool FL machine ). I learned less is more because terabytes of vsts and samples made me - repeating shit. I’m one the Live now because it’s the best of all worlds. Without FL I could rock the mpc with the mpc I stepped,z FL level up.
Beat music combo for me is FL And a MPC
I’m on the way lol
I thought so too until i saw this same video thats funny
An mpc x with Bitwig 5. Have the best of both worlds.
My biggest gripe with the MPC One+ is the lack of a dedicated ethernet port. That would require me to carry a wi-fi network switch if I wanted to take it with me on the go. Unless there's something I missed lol. Keep up the good work sir.
Not sure I’m understanding your issue, but MPC one (not +) has an Ethernet port. No Wi-Fi, but also…. That’s never been an issue for me personally.
transition to the dark side push 2
fl gang
Man I started using mpc when the first studio came out. Was using mpc and Fl but now for beats I just use mpc. I use fl to record
I still want one of those
Mpc Software Sucks, alotta bigger producers agree.. I Choose Maschine Instead
Both the MPC & Maschine software sucks for the same reason tbh
@@AveMcree I don't think so, they both suck for arranging however on Maschine I'm always able to get my track atleast 60% done before needing to export to Fl to finish MPC software too buggy
What mpc should I get :DD
Live 2
X
Depends on your budget and needs... The One is the cheapest & best value. The Live 2 is portable with speaker but has less buttons. The X is the mothership has everything except the ion battery!!!!
They following Metro boomin.
Q Links! Learn ‘em!!!
😂😂😂😂
they all copying metro boomin. lol.
lol welp big shout
Metro uses an older MP but it’s for a legitimate reason not for fashion or bandwagon reasons lol
@@3rdARKnight Cap... He uses both the MPC 2000XL & the MPC Live 2.
@@osiris200 Nah he's ok at using both... Remember he's a perfectionist. He takes his time with everything.
MPC was my first music making gear that I started off with. I then started using the Korg Triton and the Korg D1600. I’ve traded that all in and went into Computers. I got tired of Sony Acid Pro 7 after a while. Now I just use Native Instruments & FL Studio 21. As in my favorite VST Format. VST3 Only. I’m done with VST2/DLL files. I may change again. I go for what I prefer right now. I really want to move onto Pro-Tools to replace FL Studio. I will see. I’m a Stickler. PCs, Macs, IPhones, Cellphones, Ipads, & Tablets. Over hardware. I love less space. That’s My Subjective View. I love playing Chords, etc…, but I can do that on my Surface Pro.
As long as they're picking up an MPC and finally switching into real production, I can only be happy for them..
Biggest takeaway for me from this video is fun was had. If we all could only see that. Smash elbows on the like button, hit up our gear, and do the same.
