Thanks for demonstrating drawing on devices not advertised as a "drawing devices" even though they have pen support. This combined with you being so thorough as to compare products with similar ones, such as other stylus pens in this video, is underappreciated. A lot of youtubers just repeat the same thing and just describe texture of products and how it feels in their hand, or whether them writing "hello" across the screen makes the stylus support "great". You even zoom in and show details of various things. I can't say it enough, you're the best! And thankyou! Your videos are almost equivalent to having an actual hands-on experience. 😁

A lot of the other reviewers talk about the specs which is important but they don't really cover the usage of the pen. The phone shows great for videos, games, taking notes with the keyboard or texting, but it comes with a pen.I think that a lot of the reviewers forget that part. @@teohontech7141 if only Samsung fold laptops could match the M1 in performance and screen. The tab8u and fold seem like way better devices overall then their laptops. It is pretty tragic that Microsoft n-trig tech is getting adopted. its SO much worse. I was also surprised to see that even the iPad had diagonal line wobble. My friend who was a new artist just assumed he had poor line control!😆I never heard anyone complain about the iPads wobble so I assumed they dont have it. now I suspect they are just using Microsofts patents
Just a comment on why unfortunately the pressure sensitivity is not working on the crease good: there is simply no digitizer behind the crease area. The position however is calculated through algorithms which use the digitizers adjacent to the crease.
By the way friend I recommend using the pen case if you plan on holding your device a lot while writing and drawing. That s pen case actually makes a great place to put you fingers instead of trying to hold the entire width of the device and then you don’t press the power buttons either 😌 Edit: Also the pen holder part of that case is easily removable as well for table drawing. Idk how many times you can take the pen holder off that case before it becomes loose but early on it’s fine
the spen fe has better latency as it's meant for zfold, the spen pro has the zfold switch but the latency isn't as good just because it needs to recognize whether your on spen made or zfold.

Nice review showing drawing features. I have this phone since beginning month and am enjoying it. Yes, hugely expensive and I'm not sure my upgrade from Note 20 Ultra was worth it. I really like the Note 20 Ultra. I love the pen on both phones. Try to learn and use the features on your existing phone before upgrading, especially if you have a full feature phone like the S20. But if you have cash enough, go ahead a get the Fold 4, and you will probably be happy. Both phones are really good, imo. I got Samsung watch, plus case, plus pen in deal from phone company to make the price easier to swallow. Case holds pen on Fold 4 so it's not as nice as on the S20 built in, but it is quite nice fit with the case. On balance I think Samsung got both right. To make Fold 4 big enough for integrated pen would have made it too big and heavy, imo. Weight sounds trivial until you have to deal with it. Current Fold 4 is plenty heavy enough so would not want it heavier. Same goes for screen size. They got the balance right. Otherwise bigger would be hard to hold. Well done 👏 Samsung. Just wish your phones were less expensive

Thank you for another great video. Regarding the desktop version of gsmarena: it is a problem of gsmarena. You have the same problem also under Chrome. Therefore, gsmarena offers a dedicated button on the bottom of its page for switching to desktop version.

One annoying drawback on my Note20U is that it doesn't have palm rejection feature while using the Spen. It is a great if later S Series or Fold equipped with this useful tip.
If the pen can show a cursor, it's very likely there is palm rejection. You just have to find an app that has palm rejection feature. That way, the app can only write with the detected pen and nothing else.
I own the fold 4 and while I agree it's obviously narrow compared to modern slab phones I never find myself caring. I only use the cover display for general things like texting, playing music quickly checking emails and such. When it comes to any kind of consumption where a larger screen would be better I always use the main display. I didn't buy the fold 4 for the cover display to be my go to screen

I really don't get it. After I had the Fold 2 without fault I now bought the Fold 4 and it just kept crashing and restarting. Even in safe mode and no matter what App I was using. So I got a replacement and that one even restarted itself upon setup! I am now waiting for the third Fold 4 hoping it will work without fault. Is anyone else having these issues? I can't be the only one and what are the chances of me getting TWO "monday devices" (as we say in Germany) in a row. Really love this devices but I have lost a lot of settings and data along the way here.

I don't really see the Fold 4 as a device for making professional art and that's not because of the crease. It's more of a digital sketchpad that you can bring easily around. And hence its function is different from a tablet you can't put in a pocket. While there's no crease on the Samsung phone with S Pen storage, drawing with that S Pen feels like drawing with a toothpick. If I am actually using that phone to draw, I'll still bring a separate thicker pen out (Noris digital jumbo). Whenever I hear a reviewer say they like the S Pen storage I cringe because that thin pen is so uncomfortable to use for minutes for drawing and writing. But hey, convenience of built-in S Pen storage beats comfort, for them but not for me. There are many drawing tablets that don't connect to computers. Samsung Tab S series tablets and Apple iPads. For affordability, Samsung Tab S6 Lite, refurbished iPads direct from Apple.

There may not be a need for the tablet if you have Z Fold 4. Main difference really is with Z Fold 4, your tablet (smaller) will always be with you, everywhere.
It works with pen displays such as those from xppen and huion that support Android and USB C connection. But there is no driver so there will be certain features that do not work, or do not work well.

That is very sad for artists but hopefully some day technology will advance to make digitizers foldable too.

I use mine to dump photos from my camera and then cull them. I even edit in lightroom on it. Pen is amazing.

If you already have a phone that works fine, there isn’t much reason to change your phone unless you really need the larger display
