Your fades are always on point but your shear work blows my mind my guy! Precision AF 👌🏼🔥
I appreciate that! 🙏🏼
You definitely have some of the most artistic, creative cuts I have seen. Well done!
Thank you!
Do more dfs videos!!!
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
fire video bro 🔥 i feel like i’m really getting the DFS formula down, it’s getting easier each time i do it
You’ll definitely get a little better every time. I know I still am!
We definitely need more of these!
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I was considering the new Babyliss FX One's for a Christmas present. This cut is like all my favorite styles rolled into one!
Do it!!! They’re amazing!
Fades are good. But alot of the younger generation are going toward longer styles. Awesome video.
I agree!!!
Amazing video. Thanks
best cut on this channel and i saw every, mega dope for real!
i improved a lot since i started dfs and im only in the begining, everything become simple and practical in my mind!
what's the blowdrier?
You’ll get better everytime! It’s a Dyson
Really considering getting the Josh OP cutting course but I’m brand new and was curious if you guys would recommend it for new barbers? I’ll be starting school in June but want to be able to get down with shears too.🔥 great cut, Sean. Love your videos man.
I would say yes. It is definitely a little advanced but starting with that knowledge vs learning it late and having to break old habits
@@Seancutshairright on man, thank you very much! I guess I can’t say I’m brand new. I’ve been studying a lot and understand a bit but just haven’t cut much of anyone else very much. Been cutting my own hair for years and some friends/family for the past year or so. Been watching guys like you on RUclips as well so thank you, Sean!🙏🏽
I’m gonna either buy the course or go to the class in September, or both. But tbh. I just don’t see any reason for me to use this technique that often. I can do the same thing shear over comb in 1/2 the time. I would say with about 90% same precision.
Couldn’t disagree more! You’ll use it more than you know! The level of precision here is next to none. Plus it’s more for scissor work, longer length cuts, and having control over the hair.
@@Seancutshair Thanks for replying. And thanks for the videos. I actually have been incorporating some of what I’ve seen you doing with this technique. I am open minded if nothing else. I definitely want to take the class. I wanna soak up some of that energy if nothing else!!
Anyone who hasn't bought any OP education is seriouslyyyyyy missing out. My only regret is not getting it sooner
💯💯💯
Would you guys recommend it for literally brand new barbers? I’ll be starting my barber school in June but really want to have a good understanding for sheer work as I already understand some fading systems.
I have a question I don’t know if you’ll be able to answer here but I’ll try. I’m in the OP online academy and the one year fundamentals course is almost done. I’ve seen a lot of DFS educators using the foundation and a second guideline like you did here but it hasn’t come up in the tutorials and I’m almost done with the course. Is it in the long hair month? I’m almost there, still in the pompadour month
when are we gettin cyborg review?
Never got it so 🤷🏻♂️
do you happen to have any other shear recommendations other than the fresh shears which are still kinda pricy
That’s definitely not pricey most other brands are $300 up to $1500. I don’t know that you’ll get anything remotely decent for less than $100
100 bucks is a great deal for some good shears!
@@Seancutshair ok thanks, i wwas looking at faded culture cause theyre good barbers in my opinion but i cant seem to find any reviews
The Babyliss one and a half is a slightly different length? 4.8 mm? 🤔
Yeah so I’ve been using it closed instead of half open
@sean great in style hair✔️
If video make it long
Tutorial Take more advantage
Much respect ❤️
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Congratulations man 🙂🎉👏 Seancutshair 🙂📱🔊
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
oh yea!
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
So you did 2 foundations and did you elevate the bottom back to you? Wish the shear work was normal speed and taper was on fast.
He can't reveal all of the dfs secrets, you gotta buy the course bro
But he made a top "guide layer" and the a "foundation layer" then used diagonal back sections to connect the two.
The bottom guide was fingers against the head
I have purchased the course 6 months into it thanks.
Are those new lo pros head and shoulders better than the original ones? Also how is the noise level? The first ones got pretty loud
Not insanely better but they are just another level of quality
increible!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Dfs formula video…. Then proceeds to wiz by all the shear and dfs footage to just show your fade process 😂
He can't spoil Josh's secrets bro 😂 you gotta buy the course, it's worth it fam
Yeah I can’t elaborate too much it’s some proprietary stuff! Every time I show the shear work the videos do terrible so didn’t think people wanted to see it 🤷🏻♂️
Hey shean, low pro one or gold fx one or the onyx what fades best?
I like fading with the lo pro better. I use the fx’s for bulk removal
How would you rate the braun series compared to babyliss fx2 and fx 3. I know you said it’s more for home and doesn’t cut as close. What’s the difference between those 3. It’s mainly for selfcuts.
How long does it take you to do a haircut like this?
40 minutes if I’m not explaining it
Insaneeeeeeeee
