Thanks for the question. On April 8, 2024, the Economic and Development Services Committee considered Report ED-24-44 dated April 3, 2024 concerning the Bloor-Simcoe Intensification Study associated with Interim Control By-law 133-2023, and recommended that City Council authorize staff to, among other matters, initiate the statutory public process under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13 for Council to consider proposed amendments to the Oshawa Official Plan and Zoning By-law 60-94, generally in accordance with the Bloor-Simcoe Intensification Study associated with Interim Control By-law 133-2023, contained in Attachment 1 of said Report. Report ED-24-22 dated April 3, 2024 will be on the April 29, 2024 Council meeting agenda for consideration.”
