I enjoy friendly talk and laughter between commentators but this was a little over the top, while the one dude really wanted to talk about parts of the run and was just cut off by jokes
Yeah, lvcreed usually has some good insights and points but those other two dudes were pretty loud and dominating and ended up taking a lot of focus away from the run.
I have to disagree. This game has been shown off multiple times at GDQ and has been throughly explained in detail in every appearance. It's nice to see everyone having fun for once and not taking the speedrun so seriously. It was a good balance of knowledge and humor. Slurpee seemed to enjoy every bit of it too, which makes me think that he asked his couch to do what they wanted. At the end of the day, if the runner was happy, and we are making money for charity, then that's all that should matter.
I thought it was just me. Even just five minutes into the run, there was a lack of coherency and too much audio feedback for me. Sometimes there was like three conversations going on at once. It made the run hard for me to get into. It’s a good time for sure, but the balance was definitely off.
@@ClydeCash-t8z “At the end of the day, if the runner was happy, and we are making money for charity, then that’s all that should matter” This is always such an illogical statement. Constructive feedback is always valid even if the runner is happy or money is being made for charity. If this wasn’t the case GDC would still be in a tiny corner. As all the purists groaned and complained about what it’s become today, and the reach it has because of constructive feedback.
Commentary was not my cup of tea on this one. Two guys having fun by themselves with what seemed like a lot of inside jokes, and really not much talk about the run itself. Or just joking in general. Didn't learn anything from this run, but still congrats to the runner making great time on this game.

been watching gdq since the beginning, gotta say, it's okay to do jokes and have fun in the couch, but at least put at least 60% of the run on commenting knowledge, tips, glitch, tricks about the game, some people who dont play this game are also watching, not only speedrunners, love from the philippines, yaay, gdq time!!!
I've watched TONS of gdq Mega Man runs for years, many of them several times. This is the most fun I've ever had, with the couch, the commentary, and Slurpee's incredible display!!!! Way to go guys!!!!
I don't mind the two guys on the couch being unhinged and all. But only if they would allow the one guy on the couch trying to offer serious commentary a chance to speak without interruption. Felt weird and disrespectful
I really appreciated hearing what lvcreed had to say.

@ClydeCash-t8z buster only hasn't been shown in 12 years so I can guarantee that almost everyone haven't seen this run before

Commentary was a bit too much for me to focus, a lot of one guy trying to crack jokes over and over rather than them explaining the game.
jump and shoot things ;)
Same here.
Man I really wanted to hear more abt the game

If you die in Megaman, you die in real life
21:50 missed opportunity for a Volvagia reference to double down on the hammer jokes lol
that boss on the special stage is wild!
We've waited years for him to return. Welcome back Slurpee! Also, I love how this whole run was just a try not to laugh challenge.
there's lots of life in the commentary here.
It's great
GG Slurpee, ya did good once again!
"i'm pretty sure my dog doesn't fly" sounds like a skill issue and you should teach them.
LVCreed saved the couch. Great run Slurpee!
commentary is reminiscent of old GDQs back in like 2012/13. super fun to watch this one.
Action 52 game was with vampires turning off lights
Lmao 3:58 this part is hilarious
Diggin the good times being had on this run
This is a legit couch% run.
Jewelry boi
Why's the game capture 30 FPS? Other than this, it's a good, entertaining video.
This was like watching a skilled speedrunner interacting with the "OneyPlays" crew. I loved it.
Best couch I've seen in a while. Unhinged.
Non Human mentioned!
I love this couch and how much fun they're having, but still remembering to stop for donos!
Tornado Tom!
But the real question: Did the kids win? and what floor did they get to if not?
This commentary was ADHD incarnate!
Great couch
This run was hilarious! I have no idea how Slurpeeninja was able to keep it together.
These guys are a riot 😂 one of my favourite runs .
I've watched TONS of gdq Mega Man runs for years, many of them several times. This is the most fun I've ever had, with the couch, the commentary, and Slurpee's incredible display!!!! Way to go guys!!!!
The vibes are so good

Incredible energy!

Good couch!
Love the hilarious commentary. Pity those who don't.
First!
