So glad I found this Channel this year. Actually, my kids finally convinced me to check this RUclips thing out, so I discovered a lot of great Channels this year. But Adam Does Movies sits among the top for me. Just fun and clever.
I’ll be honest with you, after watching Avatar 2 I googled “movie reviews” to see if I could find any funny reviews about how much it sucked and guess who’s review was on the top of the list, Yours bud. Finding your channel has been a delight. I’ve been going thru the archives looking thru your reviews to find others that I enjoy from the movies I’ve watched. Tho I don’t quite agree with you on Star Wars 1-3, most of your reviews are on the nose and hilarious and you can tell you keep it fuckin real and I respect the shit out of that. At the end of this review how you talked about some days we wake up and ask ourselves those 3 questions not SIMULTANEOUSLY but just different days, that Shit resonated in me man.. So I say to you Mr movie reviewer man that I’ll never meet… BRAVO!!! Keep doing you and thanks so much for all the free content!!!! I tip my hat to you sir and I wish you the best 2023
My Top 10 Best Movies of 2022: 1. Everything Everywhere All at Once 2. The Batman (2022) 3. Moonage Daydream 4. RRR 5. The Northman 6. Bullet Train 7. X 8. Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio 9. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery 10. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero
Adam is easily the funniest, most entertaining critic. Despite only agreeing on one movie being the top 10 best, these reviews are so refreshingly unpretentious, but still very smart and delivered in such an entertaining way. Love the review of Everything Everywhere All at once. Maybe the best brief review of it.

Having seen Everything, Everywhere, All at Once, I knew it was going to be near the top, the only way it wouldn't be on the list is if you hadn't managed to watch it
Great list- you should check out Thirteen Lives on prime video. Made my list with no expectations but Ron Howard cave rescue flick was well worth the watch.
Surprised by Glass Onion, it didn't do it for me and I hated the ending, but the performances were fun. RRR does deserve that love though. I have watched the dance sequence itself at least 20 times. Prey was fantastic as well. I liked it more than most other action films this year, Northman included. Nope was excellent, but I think the film would have benefitted from ending right when the house gets rained on with blood so the monster is still a mystery and threat. The end was too cliche' for me. And YES, YES, YES. EEAAO is my number one and has been since I first watched.

Hi Adam Love the channel, agree with most of your list but EEAAO to me was a tough watch.I understand it's message and why you love it but I think once is enough for me. Keep up the good work.
Lol a odd idea just popped into my head for your channel. As a bit maybe on Adam After Dark read the top 5 to 10 dumbest or trollosh comments people made over the past year on the channel. Called it 'Shine A Light On the Trolls' or something like that. I think there is a late night host that makes celebrities read mean tweets about them. Something like that. IDK just an idea Adam After Dark.
Most of your picks are on my list, obviously in a different order. The ones that aren't are X (it was good, but I didn't find it as good as everybody else), Nope (again, good, but not into it as everybody else) and Maverick (was on my Top 10 for a while, but just missed the final cut)

I agree with you that 2022 did not have a lot of great movies and looking at 2023 I think it’s going to be the same. I’m only really looking forward to 3 MI7, Oppenheimer, and Dune. The rest are like meh. Like maybe I will see Fast X if I’m bored and maybe The Meg 2 lol
@@AdamDoesMovies Great to hear. New baby hasn’t allowed to carve out the 3+ hour run time. Hoping to potentially catch a matinee this weekend before it drops from theaters.
You need to watch Apollo 10 1/2. I genuinely think you’d really like it (once you get past the animation style, which was a bit off putting for me at first). You just need to see more good movies from this year. Like, Glass Onion isn’t even in my top 20 (keep in mind I didn’t particularly care for it and you liked it more than I did, but still).
Glass Onion is already off my list, haha. Just saw Babylon last night and it was amazing! I'm guessing The Fabblemans is great too. Need to see it still! I hate doing Top 10s because they are always incomplete.
@@AdamDoesMovies I haven’t seen Fableman’s. Everything Spielberg has done after Tintin has been underwhelming for me, so despite the all star cast and rave reviews, I sat it out. Also, The Banshees of Inisherin was fantastic. It’s already on HBO and I couldn’t recommend it enough. (And Apollo 10 1/2 was released straight to Netflix)
Banshees of Irisherin has been requested by a Patreon so that one is in the works for next week! I agree that Spielberg has slipped a bit but he has built up plenty of goodwill to give this one a go.
@@AdamDoesMovies yeah. I did like West Side Story for the most part, I recall liking Bridge of Spies well enough, and that’s just his newer stuff, so I have definitely considered it. If you end up seeing it and liking it, that’ll probably push me to go see it.

EEAAO was my favorite of the year as well. It was firing on all cylinders and hilariously over the top. And yet it was also an astutely layered story of coming to terms with Who You Are and Who You Love. Best editing I've seen in years. It makes an absolutely bonkers story feel inevitable and logical right to its conclusion.
