That first group of the same shots i got completely wrong. I thought the a6000 shot was the 6700. Just goes to show it can hang with photography no doubt.
Comparing pictures is not even half the job. II'd be fine with my RX100 v for fotos.
I bought this for video, 10 Bit, much more flexible for grading colors incredible AF, miss less shots. Massive UI improvement.

Until you take budget into account ;) If one is just starting out, have a limited budget, knowing lenses will work on the more expensive options further down the line - From a beginners perspective the older, cheaper models are a good option since the quality for the most part is pretty good on all cameras :)

Started Photography with the a6000 back in the days, what a great camera. Meanwhile i found myself buying again an APS-C camera with the a6700 as second cam, especially for video reasons. Each time hard to decide if I take the a6700 or my A7IV with me. I love this small camera
I had the A7IV. Just didn't like the bulk and weight. Huge, heavy lenses too.
Some venues, I've been told to put the camera away. Never happened with the a6700
@@Pharesm i often use a sigma 150-600 so the size difference is not that important, but 1,5 crop at 26mp with AI Focus are awesome with that of course

I bought an a6400 brand new in 2018 but it got stolen... 😢. I'm finally considering buying another camera, but I'm not sure it they're better than pixel phones now... are they still better quality images?
Oh gosh that’s awful! It’s hard to say and I think it’s quite subjective but in my opinion I still think cameras are worth it.
I think Apple are getting close with the 15 pro but I think it’s quite easy to tell between something shot on iPhone and camera. iPhone photos are a bit too sharp. However with the ability to shoot LOG on the new iPhone, it’s getting there. ⚡️
I've got a question, I am an amateur photographer and on a very strict budget. I'm thinking about getting an a6000 because that's what i can afford, i was wondering if it's worth getting and if the dynamic range is good (ill use it mainly for photography)
Interesting! The a6000 is 10 years old now. That being said, it does still take great photos. If you can I’d go for something a little bit more future proof but if you absolutely can’t then I’m sure it will be fine. 👌
I shot with my a6000 today while 2 newer full frame R models sat at home. I will always recommend the a6000 for someone getting into photography that doesn't want to spend a bunch of money. It's a great camera even today. It was revolutionary when it came out. Way ahead of it's time

@@jettreels shooting final video on wednesday and hopefully sunday or monday putting out the dji mic 2 follow up video, and then the diy softbox grid video one week after that :) Just landed a slightly big order for the skate shop to a roller skate rink so I’ve got some breathing space to make videos next 3-4 weeks :)
It is already very video centric!
You have completely separate settings for video, with one button to switch into.
Some people buy the FX30 it has a fan and later on it'll get shutter angle function.
But the AF is less advanced, and you can put an iPhone cooler on the A6700 to prevent overheating, and its lighter weight.
Look at them closely before you choose...
@@Pharesm Sorry, I was unclear: jett asked in the video if he should make a similar video about these cameras from a video perspective, so I didn’t mean I hope the cameras themselves would have been more video centric, which I know they are :)

I´m so torn with deciding whether I should upgrade or not... I´ve been shooting quite intensively with my Sony A6500 since I got in 2017, it currently has 75,000 clicks, and I feel it´s incredibly slow compared to my daily work beast (A7sIII). I really want to upgrade to the Sony A6700 but I wonder if it´s worth going from my A6500. Is it that much faster, there´s barely a difference in image quality but the video capacity is great, also the AF is good but is it good enough to upgrade... HELP! 🤣
Ahah lots of people are thinking about upgrading. In my opinion the difference is night and day! So much faster and like you said the video quality is amazing! I say it’s worth it personally ⚡️

I think, just move from Zv-e10 to A6500 😂. Because i need an ibis and A6500 for used version is a bit cheap than A6600 and A6400.
Another reason want change from zve-10 is. Quality picture in zve10 not good as A6000 series. To me, quality picture from zve10 just a plain picture. Not a bit dramatic picture than A6000 series.
That's why i reconsider to trade-in zve10 to A6500.

@@jettreelsI rented the a6600 when it was new to see if it was worth upgrading and it was basically the same camera. I upgraded to the fx30 for the 4k 60
