  • It may have taken him 110 F1 starts, but Lando Norris finally claimed his first Formula 1 Win at the 2024 Miami Grand Prix, after he kept Max Verstappen at bay for the second half of the race. But was it luck, skill or a combination of both that secured his 1st place trophy?
    Further back, we also saw multiple incidents, including one between Piastri and Sainz, penalties galore for Kevin Magnussen over the weekend, and mixed fortunes over the sprint and main races in the United States. Bryn Lucas chats with Charles Bradley to answer the most pressing questions we're left with after the 2024 Miami GP.

    Funny how they all went on bout Riccardo in the sprint, yet i still have not heard a word about Yuki who scored point in both the sprint and race and outscored Riccardo this weekend. And CORRECTION: Not everyone love riccardo... most people know he is not in F1 due to merit but history and cause the Horn-Dogg Horner is forcing him into F1

      Pretty sure Lando stole everyone's thunder yesterday and its funny to suggest someone being forced into F1.. if you implied it was for commercial reasons then fair enough although the same could be said when it comes to Yuki and Honda. That said, I hope he continues his good form, he's maturing into a solid driver and I'm all for a happy Yuki

    Oscar drove just a good race as Lando in my opinion today, had he been luckier it could have been him walking away with the victory.
    His deg also looked great compared to Lando!
    The Mclaren had awesome pace, Lando even said he gained a lot of confidence when Oscar overtook up to p2 and stayed there.

    I have been a F1 fan since the 1970s and quite possibly there will be a change in the pecking order. I hear a lot of complaints regarding Red Bulls domination but Merc was no different and Hamilton was fortunate to be in a team that gave him the advantage.

    Guys, please act like mature journalists and stop with the Gen Z knee jerk reactions to Checo. He’s doing a good job and that’s about it. It’s so bloody frustrating and pathetic to hear everyone cast their expert opinions on how a driver who has won multiple grand prixs is “under pressure” and “not good enough”. If we are to apply your logic to Lewis, he should be out of a seat this year considering his lack lustre performances. Stop with the bias and please be objective.

    Historic is a bit much. A well deserved win. A monkey off his back win. A sign of things to come hopefully.
    If one is going to throw around the word classic Pierre’s win during Covid is equally so. Esteban’s win as well would also be historic.

    • @allezlesrouges
      @allezlesrouges 27 дней назад

      Historic as in his first F1 win - no-one is suggesting it was an era defining drive or win. Historic is a reasonable definition

      @k1ngcab00se In free air. He struggled to get by Checo. Do you think it would've been easy to get by Max. Without the SC , Lando would've had to get by 5 or 6 cars. A win wouldn't have been on the cards, then

    • @k1ngcab00se
      @k1ngcab00se 27 дней назад

      Didn't say anything about a win, you were talking about Sainz and Oscar being ahead of Lando. Think it was pretty clear Lando was saving tyres and going long behind Perez, that's why he dropped 2 seconds back and just stayed there. My point is that Lando was quicker than Carlos and Oscar even when they had new tyres. He could've just stayed out and continued building the gap/tyre advantage.

    • @notorious_nrsa
      @notorious_nrsa 27 дней назад

      @k1ngcab00se Once again, because Lando had free air. The no.1 position on the race track benefits from full 100% downforce. Their tyres don't overheat ,bas well as their engine.Lando would've struggled if he came out behind a group of cars because there would've been a DRS train.
