I have the 55 Gallon Barrel, but in blue. I wonder how heavy it is when loaded with water. I guess that shelf that you have the barrel on would have to be reinforced with all the heavy water in the barrel. Great trick with the string.
I think water is about 8+ pounds a gallon. So these barrels are about 440 pounds each when completely full. The self is industrial and seems to hold it fine when full.
Yeah it took me a bit to find it. Here is a link to amazon for a similar one. I bought mine at Lowe's. It is also called a bulkhead I guess. amzn.to/3J1KDRT
Im planning on putting a couple of these in the loft of our hunting cabin and having a gravity fed sink and camp shower. Thanks for the info!
Great. I think I understood that.

Thanks. Worked better than expected.
Great video. It gets right to the point, which I appreciate. I'm definitely going to try your technique on a barrel I picked up recently.

Could you build one that's strong enough for detailing?
Car detailing? For sure. You could use a brass bulk head fitting for strength as well.
Hi, what size bulk head did you use?
3/4 . The link is also in the vid description. Thanks
Where can you buy the accessories, or what are the names, thanks good video.
I added some links to the supplies that used in the video description. I picked up most of this off Amazon. Thanks
