i saw this once driving along surfers. didn;t know it was such a special car. i'd be terrified to drive it. kudos to the owner for actually driving a piece of motoring history.
One of few cars could genuine. drive absolutely flat out corner, brake steering, power was just a perfect balance.would corner at insane speeds... My Aussie dream car.
You are absolutely correct with everything you have said I am fortunate enough to own one and have owned and driven for 20 years. Only this last year we went on a week long drive to Broken Hill in NSW, epic is all I can say.
502 actually. one was white and one was black, the rest blue. there is unconfirmed report of a 503rd, a red one which was built for a HDT member, but it has never surfaced
@@davidewhite69 You are correct, 502/500, I have the image of the tag taken at the Norwell Motor complex. I have # 3023 GRP-3 Alpine white, signed 'Live Life... Peter Brock'
My uncle had one from brand new and he was instructed to let it idle for a few minutes and not rev it hard so what does he do the total opposite and sheered all the lobes of the cam 😳 it was an early build number 16 maybe I can't remember.

Classic car
A true piece of motoring history, don;t ever sell it, hard to find an original 1 owner car these days. Ideally should always be kept in the family.
Looks awesome
A true Blue Meanie

A true Aussie muscle car.

Noel should be commended on the way he has looked after this car and prepared to spend the time talking to people about his ownership experience.
Old School Muscle
Peter Brocks #5 just sold for $1.2M. Astonishing. Great car though
Fun Fact: In 1985 this was "The fastest Saloon car in the world". (which means 4 door sedan).
😍😍
