I have to disagree. I think that the table scene was one of the best of the movie, give the audience a little time to breath and give us as well character development (Yelena and Milena) and a kind of family feel that we never truly get on the Marvel movies.
I was smirking of laughing some to myself during that street chase scene.They had some funny fun lines but also as much kept thinking to myself like "sheesh talk about not caring to be discreet.Sheesh you go plowing thru the streets and all in basically a tank"😆😆😆

In case you didn't know, in the comics, Taskmaster is a man named Anthony Masters. His ability to replicate people's movements comes from when he was a child, and he is capable of copying any hero (not just movements, he can also copy voices). the only character he can't copy is "Deadpool".
He can't copy Slapstick, either. Well...he TRIED to once, but ended up breaking his own back because Slapstick is a human cartoon. And just because he CAN copy someone doesn't mean he'll necessarily beat them. Like the time in All-New Wolverine when X-23 beat the crap out of him because he got smug, (he really is an arrogant SOB) caught her foot, and promptly got snikt'ed because he forgot about her foot claws....
General Thaddeus thunderbolt Ross was always the one to hunt down the hulk. In concert with Lady Hydra they put together a team called the Thunderbolts aka the dark avengers. As for watching this movie as a standalone, it does its job and if you hadn't seen the others you'd be wondering what's so intimidating about the avengers who wouldn't disappoint when you got to the other movies... For the most part.

I think what turned me off the series was Connery's Never Say Never Again was implying Moore was never the true Bond and in a way made the Moore movies seem not part of the Bond universe, as if it went from Sean's Diamonds Are Forever in 1971 straight into Never Say Never Again in 1983 and all the Moore stuff was a dream sequence.
This is a fun movie. As with many Marvel movies, it's not so much a "superhero" movie, as it is a super-spy thriller that happens to have some superheroes, in it. Yeah, Draykov was a bastard, but he was a smart bastard. He had no desire to get a visit from, say, Thor or the Hulk, or even Steve Rogers. I look forward to seeing Yelena, again, in the Hawkeye Disney+ series.
Liked the movie, the intro was great and Yelena steal the movie for me. Great action, entertaining dynamic with the family and some explanation about certain plot points. My main issue was the unnecesary scene where they explain why Black Widow needed to break her nose. But besides that, good movie, love the theme that "blood doesn't make a family, family is the people who are there for you"

What if Drakov didn’t die at the end. No confirmed body so no confirmed kill. He probably is dead tho cos the plane exploded but so did his house but still he probably would’ve died from the fall unless he had a parachute and wasn’t shown on screen parachuting.

The man was fully convinced he fought Steve Rogers, given that he asks Nat "Did he talk about me?". The only logical thing would've been him having a moment of honesty, revealing he never actually fought Captain America and that he's been lying about it to validate himself. But that never happened. Maybe they'll do an 80s stand alone movie with the Red Guardian and Burnside (unlikely) or it's possible that it could come to fruition with the "What If...?" series... It was a scheduling conflict that caused her to have to turn down the role. She was under contractual obligation to do something else. She was also in the running for Captain Marvel. Hopefully, we get John Krasinski as Reed Richards and Emily Blunt as Sue Richards in The Fantastic Four.

Imagine if Emily Blunt hadn’t turned down the role of BW when it was offered to her!
It was a scheduling conflict that caused her to have to turn down the role. She was under contractual obligation to do something else. She was also in the running for Captain Marvel. Hopefully, we get John Krasinski as Reed Richards and Emily Blunt as Sue Richards in The Fantastic Four.

All I could get from this edited version was that there was a lot of fighting and explosions. And that the name Black Widow does not represent a character that you can develop a fondness for, but part of a frachise like McDonalds or Disney.
Duaffy, however, is a smart and pretty hostess. Her reaction to Silence of the Lambs is dead on.
A lot of older Comic Book readers are angry at this movie due to many things in it.. The main thing that ticked off people was Task Master was a long time Spiderman and Captain America bad guy who is a MAN. Not a brain washed WOMAN.. a number of other little things in this flick are wrong but they are less important
Didn’t have a problem with Taskmaster being a woman but now they completely wasted the character and ruins chance for him to actually be in the MCU
@@darnell7871 Exactly! It's fine for her to be a woman, but the character needs to have a personality to be interesting! Best MCU villain so far: Michael Keaton as Vulture - more personality than any other.
For this movie, it was like they just took CA:TWS and swapped out men for women. A mind-controlled enemy who is someone thought to be dead. A non-super totally evil corrupt guy behind the scenes. A final fight in a flying structure that's falling.
