Wow, i live in Ecuador and for the last 3 months we had power cuts every day ! between 14 to 7 hours, the country burned literally and there are massive water cuts too due to the drought or burned water pipes so i understand fully how it feels.. hang on there and luckily you have solar, the prices of generators and solar are doubled up !
Total nightmare for my family. We just moved here last week. Day one was a 12 hr brownout, and now this blackout that is going to last weeks? Devastating news for anyone that runs a biz online. I need to find that atm that runs on the generator. You guys are well prepared for this. We def aren't.
You're lucky you have your solar. You are right Jay, people take it for granted and when bad things happened, that's when you think twice. That's terrible thing to happen especially to those with businesses. Take care guys!
Hasn't Story got jeans & boots she can wear when on the motorcycle? And her helmet needs to be secured more tightly on her head. As a former police officer who has been riding since the early 70's I have some knowledge on this subject. Stay safe!
@lold6130 I too am a traffic enforcement officer from way back, and am a resident of Cebu. It never ceases to amaze me at the lack of anticipation displayed on Philippines roads by the locals including their ignorance of road safety rules, even a whole family riding on a motorcycle as often seen in provincial area's. Frequently it is only the driver wearing a helmet and no one else from adults down to small children and little baby's. Very little traffic enforcement is the root cause of this casual driving attitude.👮♂
You could actually put poppy Xmas treat into Story’s hang up advent ❤ awe Sasha, get better soon lovely and I hope electricity is sorted out very soon ❤
The tree that you show is called pagoda tree 🎄🎄 can grow very big give a lot of shade the big 🌿 leaf can use for holding food...plate take care of it would become a big asset to the beach and very rare it grows on beach line...
🌞 Such a beautiful sunny day with playful Poppy indeed!! Good for you and your solar set up, very wise and your video info helps others. 😎😎 👨👧Cool Daddy, daughter trio motor biking.👍👍 Hope Sasha's feeling better soon!! ❤❤ 🎄🇨🇦
I still don’t understand how families with children choose to live in Siargao. It’s so dangerous in a medical emergency. I mean it’s different if you grew up there but to go for a vacation then stay to live there? It’s just irresponsible.
It's good to see Poppy enjoying her family together , well trained and happy dog.
Oh my gosh, this reminds me of the many times we had random power outages when we lived in remote areas of PNG. This brought it all back.

This is a good time for the island to have their own off grid Solar power station and wind farm.

Welcome back to the Philippines! Look how Story has grown taller!

Best investment ever Jay! Were drenched on sweat. Sleep was deprived, lol.
Are you still in Siargao? It’s tough without power isn’t it 😅
Yeah, generator runs for only 4 hours. Tough days ahead.
A Chinese ship is believed to have cut some cables in the Baltic Sea too...
Yes they drag an anchor across the sea floor

That solar panels are the best investment for your family so glad u have them. 👍☀️👍🌞
Very nice....❤ I love seeing you in your videos..... Take care family..
It will be weeks to repair. The divers can only work on good weather

There was a news that a Russian submarine was spotted around that area in Siargao. I hope it’s not them. As we are friends with Russian.
Story you look cool with your helmet 🤩
There were Chinese ships near Siargao just days ago. I have my suspicions.
What would Marcos do with that rumour?
@@badlongon525 It's not a rumour it's in all the news outlets about the Chinese ships near Siargao
@@badlongon525he should ask the Duterte's why they send their allies there😁

They are spying the phil shoreline..cooking up on something.

Solar is key to living long term in a place like this
Good day ,Story, 🫰🏽❤️
Generator is loud especially if every homeowner used it at the same time 😊
Wow.. Story has grown so fast
Its better you build a solar panel. So that you can have on your own. Rather than relying on electricity there. Take care always.
they already have
Since when what month?😮😮
Maybe the Chinese cut the cable! Same way they cut 2 cables in Europe.
I really, really love your place, one of my greatest dreams is to live in that kind of place.
God Bless you guys!
The Megalodon chewed the cable in half thinking it was a big giant black worm, X- electricity
Bye❤
❤
Last time it happened it took almost 2 months
