hello, i´m from argentina and i want to do a fodder just like yours, i hace a few questions....
1- How do you protect it from de rain?
2- do you know how much seeds do i need for getting de reuslt of 1kg of green material?
3- wich seeds are the best, given your expirience to feed goats and pigs?
4-so, 7 days to obtain that result?

what exact type of rice are you using? My proof of concept failed. Can I get this rice in the US

Wala na pong nutrition and fodder dahil nagamit na po sa pag sprout so di na siya tutubo ulit unless subukan lagyan ng aquaponic water.

Isn't it expensive to use rice grains for fodder? Are there other seeds that we can use as fodder? I know wheat grass seeds are used in other countries but as I surf the net I think wheatgrass seeds are rare in the philippines
yup, using rice grains is expensive. you're better off selling the rice then using the money to buy cheaper feed. you can use the -grass method for any of the grass starches: rice, wheat, barley, oats, rye, sorghum, millet and corn. of course, some are better suited and less expensive than others. i think as far as nutrition, barley grass is the best.
bvbxiong mAybe he just had it to use. I live in WA USA and we get sun like 2 months out of the year. lot of the grains I could grow as fodder just isn't as cost effective as some are for other people.
However their are a lot of brewery around me and I get about a 5 gallon bucket of fermented grains my ducks chickens rabbits love it

The sgame question goes for a pigs i,e from piglet to pig (piglet, growers, lactating sows, sows and boars)

Obviously not! I can count the poor creature's ribs! Perhaps you could feed him one of those fat chickens occasionally and some eggs! But what purpose does the dog serve? If he performs some service then he should deserve some of the fruit of his labor. If just a pet, then you should provide for him as well as you do for yourself or any of the other creatures that depend on you for their livelihoods. Please take better care for this creation of God!
