    I love American History and this is one of the most entertaining documentaries I've seen in a long long time. And I'm always scouring RUclips for them. Thanks for the upload. This was a delight!

      Same. I'm a nature and history documentary enthusiast and am always searching for more. This is an outstanding work. Rare to find a documentary that gives both the human and natural history of a place in such a narrative way.

    Great story of the ecology and human history of the river. Don't think i've seen a documentary that provides both in such an interlinked way before. Thanks

    This is a great documentary on the Mississippi River with different types of animals. I used to go to Ruleville High School in Mississippi.

    Fabulous; I knew from the moment I heard the same theme (tune) spanning from one genre of music to another that this documentary was put together with the utmost care, and it would fill my brain to the brim with valuable knowledge. Thx for the hard work and frankly for inspiration, TSoN; Well Done. These two videos really insure one’s correct perception (in my humble opinion) of both the MS river and its longer branch.

    It must have taken a lot of balls to canoe down that river for the first time knowing that you might not be able to canoe back.

      should the natives be ashamed of their constant looting of each others land or is this just a one way thing?
      by definition that would be racist and borderline insane of course...

    • @andrewyoung749
      @andrewyoung749 Год назад

      yeah. the Lakota really are disgusting imperialists aren't they. they moved in on the black hills and forced out the tribes that lived there. they did this in the 1700s. they then claimed the land they had stolen as Ȟe Sápa, the black hill mountains. vile people i guess
      or are you just a racist bigot who believes the 'rules' only apply to one group through time and history, he asked knowing the answer...
