Traci's Tunes - Ramblin' Man 🌈

One reason why I like doing these videos is that I get to learn stuff. And then in turn show you, the viewers, who either also get to learn, or help you remember something you already know. I didn't know the name of the guitarist and singer of this band, and that there is only one remaining member still alive.
When choosing this song, I thought the instrumental parts were really long, but then I realized this is a tribute video, and by adding the video of him actually playing, we get to see him performing, using his talent. I just needed to build the rest of the video around them.

Indeed! Your Traci's Tunes reveal a lot of songs and artists of which l have never heard of. Of course, the fact that l'm from Flanders, Belgium, has to do with that. So many Americans bands and singers are unknown to me. This one was as well.
You know how l look up lyrics and l also try to find a video showing the performance of that particular song. In the comments, people are sharing how sad they are about this artist's dead and that made me realise that it's always a loss to the world of music.
I know l've said this before, but you keep amazing me with the ideas you come up with for your own performing version! 😀👍Thank you for this tribute. ❤🤩

I wasn't sure how I was going to edit it. Yes I had an idea, since that's how I filmed it. But when I googled traveling backgrounds and got the open boxcar, it was obvious. Sometimes it works like that!

I definitely remember this song, but never knew much about the band. I do remember reading 6 or 7 years ago, that Greg Allman, former spouse of Cher, had died. That's all I knew. They definitely were talented musicians, reinforced by the video clip you included.
Your own tribute was innovative, clever and certainly captured the title, and message of the song. A freight train would be the perfect means of allowing an individual to move from place to place, with no ties.

I've always liked this song, and the instrumental parts. Now i know you have a work-around if I request one of my rock or metal songs that has a long instrumental break lol. Great editing. I love the open train car idea. Beautiful pic at the very end, and beautiful tribute.

I did it one other time, about a year and a half ago. Can't remember the band's name. Had psychedelic gifs at the end.
