Agree with most of these, but you can’t put Luger and Ryback on a list with those others because some stock was put into those guys as they were main eventing ppv’s with top talent for awhile those other guys listed were barely on the card or involved in any quality storylines. I would replace them with any of the following Nathan Jones, Dan Severn, Giant Gonzalez, Lars Sullivan, Keith Lee or Brodus Clay. Wrestlers brought in with alot of hype that fizzled out in less than 6 months
I remember that they were going to make Ryback into the new Goldberg, like have him on a lengthy winning streak (at least 100-0) after his debut, and do everything Goldberg did in WCW, but then scratched the whole idea.

Massive controversial opinion here but Number 1 most overhyped Wrestler of ALL TIME is Goldberg. The man CANNOT wrestle to save his life. He's just big; pumped; aggressive; and is the KING of No-Sell. That's all he is. People say that Dwayne Johnson has a clause ion his movie contracts that he can NEVER lose a fight, right?? Well Goldberg MUST have had a similar one with WCW and then WWE because those matches were just garbage to watch. NOT ONCE in his entire career did I ever see him show ANY wrestling talent. 99% of Goldberg's matches were him using his ONLY two moves (both being finishers) right out the gate and just winning. Even Brock Lesnar no longer amuses me. He just tackles people into the corner trusts his shoulder into them and just German Guplex's until they just can't defend themselves anymore. I get it he's STRONG AF, but FFS DO something in the ring. be entertaining. I mean that IS the entire point of professional wrestling. "Sports Entertainment."

If anyone has the tolls (meaning skilled background) to even come close to surpassing Kurt Angle, it would be Chad Gable. Despite his much smaller stature than most other WWE starts Gable is incredibly powerful for that size. he has technical skill matching Angle's but he may have seen his moment pass by. He's not exactly a Fresh Face as I have seen him for quite some time in WWE. Also his booking at the moment is more comical than title contender push. Also he's now with the Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile; and they ARE Fresh Faces.
Nathan Jones. Had promos hyping him up for months, and Tekken(fighting video game franchise) even made a character based on him, yet you hardly ever got to see him actually wrestle. Off the top of my head I couldn't even name a single match he was in.

Luger had the look to replace Hogan with his chiseled physique, but Luger didn't have the charisma or the mic skills.

I knew ppl who went to metlife stadium for wrestlemania and said Ryback was getting booed mercilessly by the Ny/Nj crowd, and they edited it out for wwe programming and added cheers and "feed me more!" chants when everyone was straight up booing his ass!
