Thanks so much for the video! I'm just getting into speedrunning and this video was super helpful. Keep up the great work! The only problem I have is not getting enough height. I do everything you are in the vid but it's just not working...
The max height tree windbomb takes practice. If youre almost getting it but not quite high enough, just keep doing it until you get better understanding of the inputs. You can also post clips in the botw speedrunning discord general help and someone can analyze what youre doing wrong
This tree windbomb is kicking my butt! I can do everything up until here decently enough but once I try the tree wind bomb I never seem to get it right.... Edit, yeah I think I need to use the evergreen, ive been doing it on that tree with no troubles
I really like to drop square towards the end of the lining up on the windbomb inside stasis, otherwise i go to the left too much. Is this bad or can you do this aswell if it works?
Great question. Attempting a windbomb will clear your glitched ragdoll state, but leave your skew intact. These two glitchy states are not the same. I discuss the basics of this in the first video from this tutorial series, and I'd like to make another video that dives deeper on this exact topic when i get the chance. Thanks!
It def gets very consistent with more practice. Make sure to drop the circle and enter bullet time asap after jumping, then after you wait til a quarter usage of stamina to drop square, make sure to detonate circle asap once youve dropped square.
Hmm. In the video i say to drop square when stamina usage on the wheel is "no later than 4pm" but the real sweet spot is just after 3pm. Those are your three big cues - when you drop circle and enter bullet time, how long to delay squre, and immediate detonation after that. Usually if i get the height but fall just short, its bc i ever-so-slightly delayed detonation after dropping square. If all else fails, try watching how others do it in their runs and see if a different setup works any cleaner for you
Make sure youre instantly dropping circle and going into bullet-time, then properly delaying the square placement, and then immediately detonating circle after placing square
Thank you for watching! I hope it helps 👊

There is a more consistent srat for the tree wb. You just place the square bomb at 1/4 stamina. Detonating as soon as possible after square placement
This works really well for me. Thank you!!!!

If it works, it works.
Typically getting shot off to the left is a sign you turned too much during the wb
@@TheZeldaEnthusiast ok thanks

bro you are the best
Wait I'd we are using a windbomb doesn't that mean we lost skew? And we used a windbomb in magnesis so how would we have skew leftover?

@@TheZeldaEnthusiast Thank you for the clarification! I'll have to rewatch your first video and learn a bit more about it!
how consistent is the tree wb for you? i can’t seem to get it down

Are you getting a lot of height, but just barely not making over the ledge?
that has been an issue, but now i’m hardly getting any height

Haha yo! Glad you did, cheers!
Can’t seem to get the tree windbomb!

@@TheZeldaEnthusiast thank you! I got it finally.
@@TheZeldaEnthusiast this helped me get it, for some reason this comment really did it ! thanks man
Np :)
I'm still very bad at Tree Windbomb 😅
Takes practice to get consistent for sure. Keep at it and ask away about anything that stumps you (tree wb, stump... pun intended)
