Davis critiques Beyonce for being an agent of capitalism which therefore affects her efforts at enacting feminism. (I agree). But I'd also say that the field of Academia is just as much a privileged Capitalist structure. Davis discusses a multitude of "intersectional realities" to feminism but I feel it moved away from the topic of having a solid framework to mobilize Radical Feminist Organizing. It was a bit too broad & safe, somewhat pandering to this wave of "inclusivity politics" that often derails feminist action all together in exchange of merely "validating" all sorts of experiences across the globe.
