I dont know if its the general nostalgia (hardwired was my first metallica album, I was 16) but man the riffs on that album are miles better than the new one
I used to rag on hardwired for having a very weak second half, and even though my opinion hasn't changed, I appreciate it a lot more after 72 seasons because at least half of the album is excellent. 72 seasons is just so uninspired its painful
