As I entered into my 14th year of full time homemaking, I took the time to reflect and ponder on what I have learned along the way. Homemaking is sanctifying and the Lord had done a great work in me. I share encouragement for the homemaker, so you can forge ahead in confidence and faith.
This is a day in my life as a christian homemaker and homeschooling mom of 4 living in South Africa. Come along and homemake with me.

thanks for the encouragement. i know God is calling me to be a homemaker and i really want to obey, but i eel like now is not the time.
i was a stay home wife for the first 6 years of our marriage. this is my second year of work and am the current earner. hubby has been applying but things have been tight and now he is doing a paid internship which will end October. so i have told God am obeying next year.
obedience is best, what do i do?

Hi Becky I really do understand your hesitation. I advice that you take time to seek the Lord in prayer and fasting as this is such a big decision for your family and the Holyspirit will lead you. I will also keep you in my prayers and may the Lord grant your husband a stable income. Also find scriptures and the promises of God regarding provision, meditate( study) and declare them over your household.
