- It was a special day in our homeschool today, as my daughter celebrates her 11 year birthday. I share our homeschool tradition of making the day memorable. This is a day in my life as a homeschool mom of 4 and homemaker living in South Africa. I also share my recent thrift store finds and how I teach my youngest daughter how to read.

thank you for blessing us and sharing with such a beautiful moment, the kids were so happy and thank you for giving ideas for my daughter too, i am planning a diy graduation for her but i was worried about the setting she only has two friends, did you do a graduation for your kids? at least now i know it wont b so boring i will mimic your setting thank you cc❤❤❤
I didn't do one but I am planning to do a graduation for my son. A close friend of mine did it for her daughter and invited us and her cousin.You can do it with few people; it will still have an impact. It was so nice and it inspired me to do one. Her husband took the day off and really meant a lot to the children. So we even thinking of planning a prize giving ceremony for homeschool kids and make it an annual thing.
