Love the Spartan!! I've got 3. The body breaks easy, but it's so smooth. The 9000 mAH, huge run time and they fit well.

A little smoother on the turns makes for a nice realistic showing. Not big arcs, but less choppy turns. Good video.

Great first run! Loved it, makes me miss my old Dumas tunnel hull with a K&B 7.5 outboard, after reading some of the comments and then re - watching it a few times some of these guys are right about the trim, especially running big heavy batteries and even more so on 4s you gotta trim your bow up a bit, not only will you get more speed but better efficiency as well because your power won't be spent driving the bow down but more up and forward. These fast electric boats or "FE" boats should almost be completely out of the water. You can here it when you went over your wake a few times where the rpm jumps. But like you said, first speed boat and first time out, just like anything else rc, you will definitely notice big changes from small adjustments. Hope the tips help you out a bit and happy boating!

I didn't need to watch this. So far I have avoided a really fast boat in my modeling ventures. Your boat looks very manageable with the present setup. I have a 45 year old Pickle Fork with a glow outboard. Guess I'll get it out when the water warms up.
Man! Can’t believe the rooster tail that thing has. Can’t even see the boat when driving straight away from the camera. Looks like a fun boat though. Should really go once you get the cooler hooked up and a 6S or two in it. Lol
you might be able to direct that extra rooster tail and maybe get more speed if it was directed down torwards the water

That spread of water isn't only the "rooster tail" or outlet. There seems to be a lot of excess water being thown about and I have a feeling it could be those cornering blades. Moving a lot of water also means using a lot of power to do so. I'd try to run those blades more horizontal. They should be biting only on turns to stop the back end from "sliding" around corners. When you're going straight there's no need for them to be in contact with the water and if they are, as in your case, it's really slowing the boat down. Try it, you could gain another 20% or so.

That water (w/ current) at the beginning looks like 'gray water '...that's basically any used household water except flushed toilet water. I could be wrong ( I often am)..it just had 'that look' about it. Put it this way..I'd certainly wash my hands - and my equipment - after contact....just to be safe

Try clear packing tape is better, works on surfboards for quick ding repairs to keep water out. Nice boat.

First i got this boat but there somethings you need to khow first i you dont want to lose the boat dual rudder and aluminum water jacket a bigger lines need for better cooling this thing, if you running 3s lipo is incrible fast second you can seal whit tape al the boat they need some water inside to cool the shaft if not they going to melt the teflon and you going to have spend more money in a new one i do al this modification and my boat runs really nice i hope it helps. I forgot something put a lot of marine grease in the shaft it really help.
I love how u say "half throttle" but it's speeding half way down the river/lake

It's an oxbow lake. Its a lake that was cut off from the river meander you are next too.
+Austin Michael Its actually a pond, a man made pond. It is created from the farming irrigation canal that is beside me. Its not a river, rather at 1 time a small stream. It has been dug out and made by machines now to carry more water to the farmers fields and to the cattle surrounding me :)
+RCSparks Studio we have A LOTT of man made ponds here in FL too .. but u guys pond/lake looks much more Clean lol

You need to bring your construction equipment, bulldozer, loader, dump truck, and build a road an a parking area at the lake, then build a boat ramp and a dock

NICE video, or though there is really no 'breaking a Brushless engine in' like a NITRO engine. The engine already is tested and run optimally from the get-go. And wow a nice boat(I think I buy one in Red/I don't like the blue as much, and Red is easier to see, but I would for sure put rest cooling in + the bigger batts, then it really gets funny. On the other side, it's safer as it is with factory-settings and will probably hold longer as the engine never really will be overloaded or overheated. But you rarely sail fast long time, usually, it's like Cars, where you turn and never hold full throttle long time anyway. But I like it faster than this, and still, handle it so it will hold. Should go anker some marker floats and have a boat race. Now that would be an adventure. Have to have a guy in a canoe as track marshal.haha!
