Real fan here. Math (posted below) says Young only has a 20% chance of a breakout season. Better to trade him for Darnell Washington. TE genius EB deserves the best TE prospect in the draft far more than Del Rio needs a "fingers crossed" DE Young on a stacked line that already did fine without him.

Chase is no longer respected as a pass-rushing threat. Ego problems and injuries have killed many gifted athletes. He'd be better served developing a rushing move then banter about what he's going to do. Hard to listen to this BS anymore.

@@papertags hind sight is 20/20…Ron was just coming in his first year and had previous first rounder in Haskins sitting there which needed a chance to see what he had. Sorry to bring race in it but if he took Herbert in the first round I can only imagine what that narrative would have been and media coverage would been way too much drama. Plus the locker room liked Haskins at that time and picking another first round QB would probably lost the locker room. But, the hope is that we got blessed with gift in Howell as he fell right in our lap without any drama. For the most part Ron has made the right personnel changes since he has been here except the releasing Flowers and bringing in Norwell and Turner.
