Oh you have to read Fable and Namesake. It’s a duology, such strong pirate vibes and simply wonderful. Also, On These Black Sands. This one is with actual pirates and then sprinkle in some fae in books 2 and 3
Edit: i read them both last summer at the beach and do not regret a minute of it
I would say the Brown sisters trilogy could be read on the beach! ☀️🌊👙🐚
I'm so happy that you love People We Meet on Vacation! I feel like I'm in the minority and it's my favorite so far!
I usually enjoy romances and thrillers on a beach vacation but will literally read anything. Def beach vibes would be:
Same Time Next Summer (a romance that takes place at summer beach houses by A. Monaghan)
any of Abby Jimenez' recent books
Every Summer After by Carley Fortune
None of This is True (thriller)
Bright Young Women (thriller/true crime retelling)
The Whispers by A. Audrain (urban drama psych thriller)
Girl! We have the same taste in books! That’s why I’m a subscriber to your channel and also why I have such a HUGE recommendation list of Romantasy 😅🤣
OMG Heartless Hunter is at the top of my TBR! I really need to pick that one up!
Sooooooo many people have recommended The Ever King!! The way I need to read this is SICK!!!!
First of all, I'm in love with your lip gloss. 😍 I love how different our recs are! I literally recommended Kingdom of Ash in my Beach Reads video, because if there is ever a time to rip my heart out and cry, it's on a beach for me... Piña coldas will be there to save me. 🙏🏼😂😂😂 I LOVE Dawn of Onyx and The Crimson Moth (as it's called here in the UK). I read it in 24 hours, so totally agree with you! The pacing is amazing! The romance and dynamics are superb. I've just added The Ever King to my TBR, sounds soooo good. 🏖
thank you!! and omg that is so funny 😂 kingdom of ash is a stunning book i’m glad we both love it! also yes pick up the ever king its so so good!
Dawn of Onyx was a great read! Picking up the second one soon. Heartless Hunter is at the top of my TBR after I finish TOG series! ❤☀️
I LOVED heartless! So good! I’ve seen Heartless Hunter around but now I def should check it out after hearing you rave about it. Two heartless books!! 😳😆
Great video ❤. I read like 40 percent of Daughter of no worlds on the beach and that was really fun, and the world building is really easy to understand. Also the romance is amazing so I would really recommend this one as a beach read for all of those things.
I'm so excited to hear all of your recs!!! I'm so glad that I was able to do this with you!
I’m in the middle of heartless hunter right now- def could be a beach read!
Thanks for the great recommendations ☀️🏖️
Always a pleasure to catch a new video of yours☺️ Well, since ACOTAR is on my kindle and I "still" haven't read it, I will save it for my time off in Greece then. Thank you, Rachel!
My personal beach read rec would be Tress of The Emerald Sea 💚🌊
Love the fantasy recs…adding them to my TBR! My fave beach read is You Lucky Dog by Julia London. It’s just so.much.fun🐳
Beach Read and Funny Story would be my top 2 recs for reading on the beach! But I agree with A Dawn of Onyx and ACOTAR! ☀️🏖️
Wonderful recs thank you! I need to reed more Emily Henry and Elsie Silver (more of a fantasy/fanro girly 😄) and from your fanro recs I only need to reed the Ever King!! What just came to my mind was the first time I read Empire of Storms, at the beach, crying and freaking out because of the ending and then just jumping straight into the cold sea to drown my emotions 😂😂⛱️ was painful but I loved binging the entire series 🧚🏼♀️❤️
I just re-read When in Rome and am currently re-reading Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams. I think these books would be perfect for the beach. Light, funny and no stupid 3rd act break ups to build tension. They’re just fun.
I am also usually a fantasy romance girl *kindreds curse saga you have my soul right now* haha but I keep hearing such good things about that Elsie Silver series that I think i want to give it a go :)
OMG Heartless! That series has my entire heart!
Not me watching Rachel’s beach recommendations while I curse my humidity hair and count down to Halloween. I just bought my first Elsie Silver this week! Oh and I think Alex M’s The Fury would be a great beach read! Island setting, plus it’s a fun stupid thriller that knows it’s a fun stupid thriller. It’s in on the joke.
i looooove a fun stupid thriller 🤍
A Ballad of Sky and Sea would be good too!
Ever King is going to be my number one summer read.
So many wonderful recs 😍⛱️
Love these!! 🌞🌞

Can anyone answer whether or not you can read the chestnut springs series out of order? (E.g., can I read heartless without having read the previous ones in the series) the internet does not give a clear answer to this 🥲 thanks!
I read the series out of order and it was totally fine! they are interconnected standalones, there isn’t an overarching plot though so you won’t get confused if for example you picked up heartless first ☺️
@@ravenhairedreader wow thank you SO much for your response!!! You’re the best!🩵🫶🏻 love your videos🥰
