I feel like you actually just sold me on the mist thief because I hate when characters aren’t level headed and don’t get along well for stupid reasons 🤣 I would love if more books showed love interested resolving issues quickly like real adults!

Into the Drowning Deep is about killer mermaids, its a science fiction horror hybrid. Cozy but spooky. Also bonus, sapphic relationship and so much representation including autism and a disabled character.

The Veiled Kingdom was a 5 star for me 💕 the ending ripped my heart out, I’m dying for the next one! I’m in a bit of a book slump now though 😅

I was shocked by how much I ended up loving The Veiled Kingdom! So excited for the next one! I'm eager to hear your thoughts if you do pick up the broken kingdom series. I started reading the synopsis for some of them and it sounds like an amazing series so I think I want to read it, too!

I just couldn't get into the veiled kingdom. The main guy was a bit too much and I didn't feel connected to the characters, but glad you enjoyed. : )

I’ve been seeing the veiled kingdom a lot lately. I think I’m gonna cave in and just buy it and read it. I’ve been in the biggest slump and haven’t been able to finish a book since finishing iron flame. The veiled kingdom seems like a easy quick and fun read and I seriously NEED that rn

I recommend Lake of Sapphire by Mallory Benjamin. Such an amazing romantasy series! Especially if you like Powerless and the veiled kingdom.

I just finished the veiled kingdom and it was hands down the worst book I read this year 😭😭😭
I did not enjoy veiled kingdom 😅 the degradation kink isn’t for me and it felt like the girl had No backbone and let Dacre mistreat her. I cringed at so many of the spice scenes because of it. But I agree Holly’s writing style made it a fast easy read.
I didn't like Veiled Kingdom.... I think it lacked depth of plot and characters as well. The ending was cringey.
