This is perfect for a single person. People who move out of the States need to leave their American expectations in the States/you'll live a better life.
You said all one has to do is adjust their mindset.! Thanks for sharing. It gives a ray of hope to those on a very minimal fixed income, especially when funding and long exhausting waiting list exist in various places throughout the states along with all kinds of red tape to "Qualify". When availability and affordability without all of the hoops exists it makes for a peace of mind and thats the epitome of SELF CARE. Thanks again, sirely this will brighten someones day with just a little ray of hope. Stay Blessed
True. Mindset is everything. And expectations are another. While this was a brand new spot, the other places in the $200s were not and weren't 'new' or 'nicely' furnished. This was a steal because she was gonna get another place for $50 less and it was much smaller than this and didn't not have as much accessibility as this place did. But, the other one was still nice and had access to more places for local shopping (and could walk to EVERYTHING)
Great studio at that price. I'm in Merida as i type, 11/18/24, beautiful city, visited Costco, Xumal Ruins, Sisal, Progreso, hung out in Santa Lucia Central, good food, clean city, bus service, didnt do the tourist thing, rented a car and toured this area of Yucatan. There are great photo ops, buildings ,churches, a great place to visit, and enjoyed every minute.🎉
New to your channel. I need to get down to Merida. Also saw your video on the new visa/residency for those who have traveled between 2016-2022. Getting my VA benefits in order and then it's on. Appreciate your info.
Excellent! Much needed information. So I would need a stamp before the year is out? I came out in 09/2023 Cancun and travel to Tulum. Hang in there for 2025 to get my temporary visa in 2026. Worth ever peso.
Greetings from Playa Del Carmen! What a blessing you are. After Tuesday when people start blowing up my phone trying to flee the matrix, I’m sending them to you because…I don’t have the patience!
Hola Cartess! Hola Elle! No resident visa but she got her 180 day tourist permit so now she and her passport are in the Mexican Immigration system. With a few quick land border runs to the Belize or Guatemala for a new FMM she will qualify for the RNE Program by January 2026 with no proof needed for the economic solvency qualifications required through a Consulate in the US. Cartess, make sure to tell to her save her receipts so that when the time comes she will be able to prove to the Mexican Government that she is able to support herself to make things easier. BTW- Many people are suggesting that they will cancel the RNE but I believe Mexico will more than likely keep the RNE Program valid for residency. They realize that it's gotten much harder to qualify now through a Consulate with their economic solvency requirements and they do want people to come down and spend their money here. There is also this part of the Mexican Immigration Law that most people aren't aware of but it is a part of the Laws for immigration. Section 2, Article 54, Clause 3 basically states that if you can show that you are able to support yourself while visiting Mexico that you may qualify for a Resident Visa. Mucha suerte desde la hermosa Ensenada!
Hola David. You got it brother! That's the plan (she got her stamp at the end of 2024) and just have to ride out 2025 and qualify in January 2026 (no proof for economic solvency). I'm with you on the RNE program. It's a huge money cow for immigration and I don't see it ending anytime soon. Thanks for sharing.
@@MoveAbroadandThrive Hola de nuevo Cartess! Gracias por el buen trabajo guey! I try to tell people to at least come down and get a stamp in their passport so they are entered into the Immigration system. After that it's just a waiting game where you can either move here and save money while you wait or stay in the US and watch your savings dwindle. Buena suerte!
Can a person do short term rental in that price range?.i. still learning trying to understand how to experience living before applying for residency..also i see income requirements $4k mo..i get soc sec but its not near rhat amt . Could i be a visitor for 6 mo to try to save?

And you would have to jump thru hoops, get on wait-list and "hope" that you are picked Because $1 OVER the so called qualifications and you're out of luck!
I would not leave America . If I were poor to rent that type of apartment in Mexico for $300. I can get housing assistance and get a far better apartment in America for $300 to each his own.
You can not get a decent apartment for $300 anywhere in the U.S. unless you are a woman who probably has children and even then it's not really yours it's the governments and they're letting you use it with many stipulations.
Why would you prefer to be on government assistance when you could live free of that system? In the US, if you pay $300 and live in Government controlled housing, including section 8, it would not look this nice. Plus, in the US, you are not getting much in food stamps. Your electric bill will be 3x of that in MX, and no govt assistance is offered for WiFi, gas, or electricity in the US. Plus, dont forget about your Rx and Dr appts. If you only have 1,500 a month, you short of funds by week 2. You do the math😅. The US is EXPENSIVE. #getout

Hi, the contract is under the long term basis or short?
What is the exchange rate now? Usd vs peso
por favor cuando pongan precios pongan dollares o pesos para saber exactamente de que cantidades estan hablando,.
I like it 😂!
I want to come down and stay about a month to check things out I’m single what’s the cheapest way?
Driving is the probably the least expensive and when you drive in they almost always give you the full 180 days on your FMM. Buena suerte!

Stop acting like you can AUTOMATICALLY get housing assistance.
