Cap space and saving. They're several players that'll need to be signed besides Purdy next season. The new offer apparently was 28 mil but it could either be the guaranteed money or he wants JJ money. 30 to 30+ mil a yr

I’ll do it if Niners can get Cooper and a 3rd and 4th or either Judon and a 2nd. Let’s make this trade happen because if Niners are lacking at receiver, which they aren’t. Niners have the ammunition to trade for a proven receiver during the season. Also I rather pay Purdy and Lenoir next offseason.
Great overall segment, however how is the rest of the roster forming and taking shape? Who’s hot and who’s stock may be slipping?? As for the Brandon Aiyuk stay or go and by the way didn’t he ask for a trade, then why is any of this a story if the Niners trade him? Overall can we discuss the other pertinent factors going on with the team with the players that are actually on the field?
Ik we have a lot of good guys but Aiyuk is one of the best in the league and he can be easily top 5 next year if he doesn't go to a terrible team it'll just be wasted potential.
His most valuable asset to the team is his blocking ability and willingness to block down field. As a straight up WR he is not a top 20 option. There are a lot of guys who are better receiver options out there they just are as willing to block or as good at it. This does not mean he is a bad WR it just means that he is not as good as a lot of people make him out to be. Both Deebo and Aiyuk have problems getting open when pressed and neither of them are guys that can go up and get 50/50 balls. If the 9ers had someone who is truly a top 5 WR then Kittle, CMC, and whoever the #2 guy would be would then get a lot more opportunities.
BA needs to stop an extra 4 million with a team you don’t know is not good. 27-29 mill vs 30-33 mill to stay with your team I would take the 27-29 with comfort
So Niners trade Aiyuk for a 1 year rental? Because no way are they paying Cooper 28+ Million if they weren't willing to pay the better and much younger receiver in BA. Browns would have to add a 1st RD pick to the deal. Browns would have Aiyuk for the next 5 years and the Niners would have Cooper for only 1 year. Not to mention the Browns would have the better player. A 2nd RD pick is not enough because it's likely to be a late 2nd.
Davonte would be my first choice but would also be happy seeing Scary Terry in SF along with a 2nd rd pick,Cooper is good too just trade him so the team can move on
Its annoying when reporters start reaching on trade talks when it makes no logical sense to trade him when we’re trying to win a super bowl and he’s a pillar on the offense. You dont get rid of talent, you either add more or keep what you have plus BA has no leverage on a rookie deal and only 1 year of good play!
He's basically on his way out. 49ers are bringing in wrs for workouts on Monday. He's going to get moved for a lot less than fans think. Less than what you would have got back during draft week. Its probably just going to be picks and if players are involved it will be guys on low 1 year deals that provide depth. Nothing more. Clev makes no sense cap wise to swap Amari for BA and pay BA on top of it. Now trading lets say a 2nd and 4th in 2025 to pair them together for a year might be worth it to them. Have to remember most teams have already used up a majority of this years cap space. So trading anyone to 49ers has to be right for their cap as well. Its why I think its just picks. Makes it easier. The hurdle is BA contract. Clev also might be the only team offering a 1 in 2025 for BA. The other teams are bad but they cant give up a top 10 draft pick and wr contract. BA has to decide if he wants to play in Clev with a new deal, or play in SF. All off season he's be about money, so I think that tells you where his mind is. Its not winning, but financial security.
Why are we still talking about this Brandon alyuk stuff he's either going to play for the 49ers or sit out the whole season and not get paid at all then go through this same situation next season or if it's really about the money then he would just go out there and ball out in order to get that big deal next season let's start spending this time on focusing on the players that are here and stop putting all of this energy on someone who doesn't have any leverage.
So what I’m thinking if I’m BA is this: I’ll give the Niners a hometown discount and come in for 28-30 million. If they force me to play out the 5th year and not pay me, I’m going to show up with 8 games left and earn that 14.1 million, then either be a free agent or get franchised, which will prob be mid-high 20million. If they trade me, the receiving team will know that I want 30-32 mil/yr plus whatever you have to give the Niners in compensation. 14.1mil/8 games is 1.76mil/game. 28mil/17 games is 1.64mil/game. Stew on that…pay BA!
End of day the 49ers can absolutely afford to pay him they just want to pay less. Sure its annoying to keep hearing sh*t thats not gonna happen this season for $1000. The 49ers are going to keep Aiyuk for this season since he's under contract. They will then either get what they want from a trade or BA can get tagged and make $25 mill all guaranteed for the 2026 season and again if they still cant get what they want. Then he can be a free agent.
He doesn't have a choice where he goes, he's not a free agent, send him to obscurity, bring it Davante adams,he'd love to play for the niners and have a shot at a super bowl, besides Davante would be a upgrade anyway
My only question is...WHEN IS THIS OVER!! Ive heard nuthin but this story for a while now n i just want the niners to either stand on business n pay him then talk to trent OR trade him already, keep/pay trent, and then obtain a WR thats not (sorry aiyuk) going to wine when they been tryna give you yo chesse.
I think if the 49ers could afford Aiyuk they would have signed him weeks ago! If they have to trade him what do you think of trading BA for a proven OL from Cleveland or New England with a draft pick??
49ers did this in 2004 with TO he went on to be a H.O.F. WR and played in a SuperBowl 49ers got a 3rd draft pick and it was the beginning of a decade of losing seasons
they were offered 34th and it was reported that was the best deal they had on the table........the niners wanted that and a mid level player but no one would bite. now there a good chance you could get a 2nd thats most likelg going to be like mid 2nd, anothe mid round pick and a player swap....jidon off a injury but getting at least 2nd and pick swap like a 5th and they get 6th. if jidon performed this year....you could franchse and trade hime and and the you turned auyik into 2 2nd s and a pick swap at very least and than pay ward next off season while getting to keep a all pro corner and save money
Cooper is good short term option but he's also 4-5 yrs older and not a decent long term solution. Straight up trade isn't a good option. 49ers need draft pics or a better receiver in a trade
I agree with Larry Krueger’s take on the handshake. Seemed like more of a “alright man we’re not gonna get a deal done here, let’s get you to another team that will” kinda handshake
@@victorcontreras5703 Look, I like him but the last month or more all he's talked about is getting rid of BA. Except for when he talks about how Ricky Pearsall is already in All Pro. I hope he's good, but that doesn't mean it's going to happen overnight.
Imagine wanting to leave a good team to play for a shitty team over just a difference between 1 to 8 million dollars it’s just greedy move by BA. Hopefully Brock purdy learns from Tom Brady and doesn’t go money hungry and wants to win Super Bowl!!! Who else agrees??????😅
I like Bourne, But I don't think he could make the 49ers roster with the receivers they already have. Right now I would put Conley on the team ahead of Bourne.
Ummm...there is a potential for anything to happen. At this point, speculating on a trade when there is no substantiated indicators that there will be there one is just writing an article for clicks, to get paid for the article, and hoping to look insightful or in the know IF a trade happens. There is no downside to writing such an article because if the 49ers give BA a new contract, all the talk will be about his contract and everyone will forget that this guy wrote an article about a trade. All the comments about who they should trade him for and there is not even a HINT that he will be traded. Market rate is so artificial. It is all about ego and rich teams, and if there is a team willing to pay for a good player and his ego. If BA wants a ring, then staying with the 49ers is his best chance., considering what teams would trade for him.

BA needs to stop an extra 4 million with a team you don’t know is not good. 27-29 mill vs 30-33 mill to stay with your team I would take the 27-29 with comfort
they both need to come to a money agreement imo
So Niners trade Aiyuk for a 1 year rental? Because no way are they paying Cooper 28+ Million if they weren't willing to pay the better and much younger receiver in BA. Browns would have to add a 1st RD pick to the deal. Browns would have Aiyuk for the next 5 years and the Niners would have Cooper for only 1 year. Not to mention the Browns would have the better player. A 2nd RD pick is not enough because it's likely to be a late 2nd.
If a trade happens with the Browns it will be for their RT.
Without BA i don’t think we go far. If we trade him for a ready now wide out then that’s a different story. I’m just ready for this drama to be over.
Davonte would be my first choice but would also be happy seeing Scary Terry in SF along with a 2nd rd pick,Cooper is good too just trade him so the team can move on
You really don't want a Super Bowl that badly?
@@ryanjones875 BA doesn't seem to want a Super Bowl that badly
Send BA to New England asap! I’m a pat fan we need someone like BA to help develop a young stud like Drake Maye.
Not gonna happen.
@@cameronzwicke5761 we all know drake maye is gonna b 100X better then Purdy
27 million a year and that’s not enough to play with his boys.
Wow
The franchise tag is not realistic. It would be more money than they're turning down giving him in the contract, and it would be a much worse cap hit.
Judon is currently holding out asking for more money. Probably not Judon
Tired of the drama, locker room drama is a cancer. Time for Aiyuk to go get paid somewhere else
That won't put an end to the locker room drama. Lynch is the one who creates it every year. If you want to get rid of it trade him.
I’d rather trade him to Vegas for a first round pick and Davante Adams they have to do something they have to get a first round pick out of it
Lol
🤣
I think it makes sense, no knock on BA but it would free up dollars we could pay Trent etc….
I think they should just stop the bs and either trade aiyuk or give that man the money
Oh yes ita that easy. Just pull the trigger and just do it
So what I’m thinking if I’m BA is this:
I’ll give the Niners a hometown discount and come in for 28-30 million.
It’s kind of crazy……pay me or I walk……well this team is stacked with quite a few good receivers in house…….shrug🤷🏼♂️ later 😊bro!
He's still under contract for this season. He can't just "walk"
@@cameronzwicke5761 Well "walk" as in I want to be traded...you are correct he's under contract!
Give him to the highest bidder please. Get this greedy distraction out of our locker room so we can move on and focus on wining a superbowl
Make him sit. That hurts him more than the team.
Knowing he is under contract I think he will be a niner the team likes him to much to trade him if they want to win it all
End of day the 49ers can absolutely afford to pay him they just want to pay less.
Amari Cooper drops the ball and he plays well at home and plays bad on the road. Why the hell would we want him on our team?
Aiyuk is still under contract. The 49ers don't really have to do anything.
Trade that dude 😂😂😂😂😂😂 for real
I think if the 49ers could afford Aiyuk they would have signed him weeks ago! If they have to trade him what do you think of trading BA for a proven OL from Cleveland or New England with a draft pick??
If he leaves at least it will open up money to keep Williams and maybe lenoir🤷♂️
NO if we trade him he gets paid. Just tag him next season and let him get paid until the following season lol
BA will sign a contract extension with the 49ers tomorrow.😂
Lmao this dude with his 20th aiiyuk trade video ..
Bro he's UNDER CONTRACT
49ers did this in 2004 with TO he went on to be a H.O.F. WR and played in a SuperBowl 49ers got a 3rd draft pick and it was the beginning of a decade of losing seasons
BA is a 26 year old All-Pro XWR and his first 4 year are better than TO’s
We're getting to the point where i would consider tobtake a qb and a wr each draft.
Bring Joey Bosa to the bay and send the Chargers a WR that they desperately need.
Pay Trent, he's way more valuable
Now he's gonna want Tyreek kind of money?
they were offered 34th and it was reported that was the best deal they had on the table........the niners wanted that and a mid level player but no one would bite. now there a good chance you could get a 2nd thats most likelg going to be like mid 2nd, anothe mid round pick and a player swap....jidon off a injury but getting at least 2nd and pick swap like a 5th and they get 6th. if jidon performed this year....you could franchse and trade hime and and the you turned auyik into 2 2nd s and a pick swap at very least and than pay ward next off season while getting to keep a all pro corner and save money
Looking forward to when he's gone. Hope it's to a crap team
He has no leverage. The Niners own him for the next two years and there’s nothing he can do about it.
No, Krueger is just heavily invested in getting rid of BA. He would trade every star player they have.
Krueger thinks they could win with just Ricky Pearsall. As the whole team.
Handshake Analysis Season
@@ryanjones875 I watch all of his videos and have never heard him say any of that
@@victorcontreras5703 Look, I like him but the last month or more all he's talked about is getting rid of BA. Except for when he talks about how Ricky Pearsall is already in All Pro. I hope he's good, but that doesn't mean it's going to happen overnight.
Brad, Matt Maiocco said Sam Darnold is the best thrower in 49ers history.
No trade the 49ers have been offered is close to being worth it. No Amari Cooper.
Trade hom to NE for OL help and pay Trent
Imagine wanting to leave a good team to play for a shitty team over just a difference between 1 to 8 million dollars it’s just greedy move by BA. Hopefully Brock purdy learns from Tom Brady and doesn’t go money hungry and wants to win Super Bowl!!! Who else agrees??????😅
SDS🔥🏈lets go!
If we traded ba for kendrick bourne were fuckin idiots
A 2nd and bourne isn’t the worst trade in the world. Given that will be a high 2nd. And bourne can play.
I like Bourne, But I don't think he could make the 49ers roster with the receivers they already have. Right now I would put Conley on the team ahead of Bourne.
Bourne wouldn't even make the 53:man roster ahead of Deebo, JJ, Piersall, Cowling, and Conley.
@@ryanjones875 idk bout that Kyle likes to red shirt rookies. So Cowling prb gonna be on IR and or we will cut Conley and stash him on the PS.
These teams are desperate to win. Browns are prime for an overpay.
Speculation as always. Nothing concrete to talk about so let's talk about unsubstantiated rumours. Pass.
Nice. Thank you for your 2 good seasons, Brandon. Please leave your playbook on your way out.
Pearsall... you look like you won't waste 2 years in a dog house. Welcome!
Piersall doesn't even play the same position. It's unlikely he will get as many yards as BA didn't his first two years.
@ryanjones875 746 and 826 are not very high bars. Pearsall is looking really good out in camp. I think he will.
@@ryanjones875 Pearsall can play all 3 wr positions actually. He's as good a route runner as BA with better hands, athleticism, and physicality. He's good against press which BA cannot say. Also he likes to block, to the point they used him for fake blocks to get decent gains as the defenders were caught out of position.
@@cameronzwicke5761 If this guy's better than Jerry Rice that why wasn't any other team willing to draft him so the late second or third round?
@@cameronzwicke5761 And who's going to be his quarterback after this year?
Matt Maiocco needs to change his last name to Cohn, then the universe will be balanced.
Don’t nobody want no damn Kendrick for BA that would be stupiddddddd!!
Aiyuk wants his $$
Niners use Matt for leverage
Really
Bye bye bye 😂😂😂
He will be sign this week he is feeling good they had a talk
he’s gone
I I wanna Russell Wilson package, but with the first round pick
welp if we lose BA kiss that superbowl goodbye.
