I consider this game the most beautifully drawn and animated of the SNK franchises, to meet one of the main artist would make me squeal like a girl. Good stuff.
Tamura the best in the world? Best butt without a doubt and best main specialist along with Amemori. But I think the best would have to go to JR or Wata. Although Tamura and Amemori can give them a run for their money. And Koba back in the days. But I suppose with recent tournament results you do have a case tbh!
I never really got into the Fatal Fury games as the original always felt like a cheap Street Fighter 2 knock-off, which, sadly it was. I tried a couple after that, but all but gave up. By the time Garou: Mark of the Wolves came out, I was all but moved on from SNK games. Recently came back across it and while I'm sad that neither Joe nor Andy make an appearance, it's fun to see that there's still an interest in the game, albeit 4 years previously.
The first fatal fury came before SF 2. Also, there's no fatal fury games feels like a "cheap Street Fighter" knock off because they were all different in term of gameplay and everything
Tizoc isn't even the worst character in this game. This despite not having any cancelable strong normals and a system that is very much against tick throws (including a glitch that extends throw invincibility). There are MANY worse grapplers in many other games.
