@@andrewwright. he said 2960 pounds, closer to 3000lbs. Go back and listen carefully, also these 4 door Honda’s especially with all those speakers and full interior do weight quite a bit. 2260lbs is hatchback territory. The more you know🤟

Years ago, I had a Honda Prelude Si R that was so stripped it had no cloth interior, no back seat, no carpet, and just two Sparco front seats. No stereo, no door handles, only wires. The thing was a pure rocket with only 325 horses to the ground, without a turbo, and man was it a tire burner. BUT... next to this Honda in this video... It was a Fiat. Nothing in comparison.
I'm putting a turbo on my Honda Accord that's in my driveway and get at least 450 or 500 horses out of it. It's a project in the world for 10 years. It's not stripped yet but if I get at least 450 hp out of the motor I'm not going to strip it.
I had a Chrysler LeBaron GTC convertible with a Mitsubishi 3.0 VR4 motor and tranny from a wrecked Mitsubishi in it, and installed the all wheel drive. Top end of 160, got there quick. Never Dyno'd it. Cost me $5,000 to build on top of the $3800 I spent for the car. I sold the old motor and tranny for $1200. It was another rocket, all wheel steering and a $2000 sound system. I got $15,000 when I sold it.
I've had 36 cars and trucks and more than a half dozen motorcycles... And everything I have right now can really move, but only 6 we're true American muscle cars and close to 20 we're very fast imports. It was nice to have been blessed with all these fast cars... 😁 🏎️🏍️

@Andrew hellcats are the baseline of every racer comparison. Is the car faster or slower than a hellcat? And not that fast? Depends what your perspective of fast is. To me a hellcat is decently fast.

@@JayRSwan don't underestimate a Honda either lol. They were in F1 partnered WITH McLaren so they know a thing or 2 about double wishbone and proper suspension setups
@@bubblelex5051 I'm not, You could put whatever brand suspension you wanted under this Honda and it still wouldn't touch a 720s around a track. The 720s is almost a perfect 50/50 weight and the center of gravity is much lower plus air breaks.
@@JayRSwan numbers on paper don't always tell the whole story. Honda will weigh less and have a better power to weight ratio. 50/50 weight distribution doesn't automatically mean your faster in the turns. I've kept up with porsche 911s in my civic lx coupe from 2002 in the turns. You don't understand the whole story.
The way this guy shifts is scaring the hell out of me. Those 2-3 shifts are crazy fast. I'm sure it'd be a matter of time before I did a 2-1 money shift if I tried to copy that.

The cage is a must, and it would be pretty hard to spot cruising around at night. This car is a full blown sleeper that would embarrass a lot of high dollar cars on the street

@@freddie5744 Mitsubishi 4g63, Nissan Sr20, ford ecoboost, Toyota 4age and Toyota 3sgte are a few that immediately come to mind not really sure what are the rules here because not a single 4 cylinder other than a fully custom built one will beat a fully built V8 or V6 physics make sure of that. I could also add in Volvo b230 and some other engines too just not sure what you even mean really.

The sound that K20 is making is perfection. I mean it literally sounds like a GSXR. Beautiful. AWD Hondas are something else. I've driven turbo FWD hondas that make decent power and on street tires you're just basically waiting until you can get into 4th and finally start hooking and pulling. Before that it's just wheel spin and banging on the limiter lol. AWD solves all that. Gotta respect it.

I'll never forget my first ride in a turbo Civic. Keep in mind I had rode in high hp American V8 cars. My buddy break boost's this civic bangs 2nd & 3rd then knocks it out of gear and looks over at me.... I was like 😯. I can't imagine 900hp and awd 👍

People must have forgotten what a sleeper is? A normally slow car being fast is not the only requirement for a sleeper. Carbon fiber hood + visible roll cage + car part stickers in the back window = not a sleeper. To the car owner great little car very impressive well-done sir!
